There was an interesting dialogue about this on CNN tonight. Everyone knows CNN is on the side of the victim but even Chris Coumo had to concede several points, including that everything was cordial up until the point that Rayshard resisted arrest, punched the police and stole their taser. Many of the counter arguments you guys brought up such as letting the guy walk home or that a taser is not considered a deadly weapon were debunked. It also appears the cop was within his rights to shoot and acted consistent with their training. We can debate whether he "should have" but at the very least, it was clear this isn't a black and white case, no pun intended. Oh, and I was surprised that CNN didn't try to put a racial slant on it...
