Well this thread kind of took off. I won't say any more about the session since I'm working things out with the spa, but it should be pretty clear from my limited comments that loose lips sank my ship. I'll address some of the other comments though.

I don't tell girls that I write reviews, or try to dangle a carrot in front of them for better service (other than, you know, *that* carrot). But I've never tried to hide my identity from them either. If I post a review it's usually the next day, and they are detailed enough for a girl to figure out who I am. That was never intentional, it just never occurred to me to try to be more anonymous. Is it good or bad that girls know me? That's a big topic worthy of it's own thread. The short answer is that it's a double edged sword.

As to why anyone cares what people post here, TERB may be bigger than this site, but massage reviews are a small part of it. A dedicated massage board with 200 active users should be more relevant to a spa than a board with 1000 users but only 50 who post in the massage subsection.

Also, my input here was important enough for someone to decide to cock block me for revenge. Then when I posted about it, the spa responded within a few hours to offer me a full session credit, not just the door fee. Pretty good for someone who "isn’t anything special to make a fuss about" and "doesn’t have much influence". Imagine what they would do for someone who's actually important.

P.S. For the record I've never publicly named or confirmed any of the participants in this tale.

As to your question about MPAs visiting this site, if I were a professional MPA, I would be checking this site and the red board pretty often. It’s a useful tool to get feedback but also a necessity in some cases to defend one’s reputation.

That's exactly what Cecilia told me last week. She read a few reviews of QQ girls in the forum and told me she read some girls showing no interest in the client and watching walls and clock and such while they were with customers. She said she will never let that happen when she is with her customer.

Also which MPA actually spend time out of their day to come here out of all places to search what some random guys says?

Any smart MPA who cares about her service and how there being received would be checking out the forums.

Also they can get to see and read about what her co workers are doing , what their charging and there menu. I find the girls are very competitive by nature so they always check to see how the competition.

I learned my lesson many years ago with posting descriptive sessions. Girls are on here reading posts. There biggest issue is when you share something she rarely does and then every guy comes in asking for the same experience because they read it the forum.

Some guys and little or communication skills and use the "I read you do xx" so why aren't you going to do it for me " it said you charged xx why are you overcharging me.

This is equivalent to me caring what a summer student in my office thinks about me. I could give three shits and I am sure they feel the same about what some random dude wrote on a small message board full of people that she and he doesn’t know.

Classic rule for reviewers should be "never reveal your identity". Sadly that is something most of us only learn too late. Letting spas know your handle may seem like a good idea at first. For a while, you get the red carpet treatment from staff and MPAs, smallest critique can get you door fees and the occasional free session. But, in the long run, one tiny misstep will cause the smoke and mirrors to disappear and you see the harsh reality. After a while, you also question yourself: did I just have an ok session but reviewed it as top notch only because of my relationship to the spa??

Better to just stay anonymous.
