Here are some important features of massageplanet not so obvious to the casual observer:

* A Do Not Review list does NOT exist here..you can freely post reviews on girls at Wild Rose Oasis, for example.

* The Edmonton Website sticky stays on here Permanently, with the full blessing of the authorities.

* Reviews are in the Review section; Ads are completely separated away from reviews in their own ad section...clean, uncluttered and easy to navigate..

* Vigilant moderation creates a Flame free, Drama free environment. Enjoy your posting experience here.

I'm not sure it's wise to disregard the wishes of the DNR studios/providers.

I was speaking to a fellow from vice the other day and he said they primarily work off of complaints. He also told me that most of the complaints they recieve come from within the industry. This means that studios/girls who are trying to do their jobs while keeping a low profile and staying under the radar are complaining about the blatant advertising etc. of other studios. Do we really want them complaining about massageplanet as well?

We don't go out of our way to antagonize anyone, and because there is no DNR list we can't be accused of playing favorites.
This board is a little bit different than some others in that we don't allow reviewers to make unkind comments or slag SP's in their reviews.
As long as the reviews are honest and respectful those studios/girls should accept them.
I can only see them being upset if the reviews are unfair, so they should have no need to draw more attention to massageplanet.
In any case, LE is most certainly aware of (and monitoring) this and the other review boards.
Good comments, though.

I've always held the opinion that if the studio/SP does not want to be reviewed for (insert reason here) then they should also not be advertising in the papers, or the phone books, or the internet.

To do so just does not seem to be a consistent train of thought. Suppressing reviews/mention kind of seems like hiding something when their advertising is out there

Although, I do agree that some of the rather more graphic reviews may be pushing the envelope a bit

I would have to agree. I personally refuse to give graphic details because I feel you need to also respect the woman you are reviewing. As much as some people enjoy reading the graphic reviews, this is NOT Penthouse Letters. We are not here to provide stroking material, but an honest opinion of SPs' quality of service. Although some of the humorous approaches certainly make for some fun reads.

Gents,

Here on massageplanet, we are fully free to call the other board by its name..Perb. So, no need to tippy toe around calling a spade a spade.

The reason most of you are calling it the other board is that it is a bannable offence on perb for you to mention, promote etc anything about any other SP review board, especially massageplanet.

Word is travelling by the underground on perb however about our site..and members of both boards are cross posting their reviews..

ironically, many of the newbies on perb haven't got a clue that we exist, and dere ain't nobody be telling dem bout it...can't have de ladies losing their readership now , ya know..capiche??!!

1..Poor reviews of SPs are allowed to remain as published on massageplanet, whether the lady is in red or not.. White knights of course will still come to their rescue, on schedule. But even if the lady asks the Mods or Chillman to delete the review, it will remain (unless it is patently false and malicious).

On Perb, the mods will delete a poor review of a lady in red if she requests it..you've all seen it time and time again..

2..Ads on CL..reviewers are free to post the CL ad and contact info here on massageplanet.

This I think is one of the best things about massageplanet; the fact that ANY review stands on it's own merit. I have said it time and time again that the negative reviews are really the money savers. As long as the review is an honest account of what happened and not just a bashing session, it stands. The SP (if she even sees it) is more than welcome to explain her side. Sometimes it's just bad chemistry and the way the SP handles herself with the negative review really can shed some light on how professional she is.

Any good review board should allow both types of reviews. Note however that PERB is a "recommendation" board so you are only allowed to recommend. LOL.

For those of you who have a handle on massageplanet which is different from your perb handle, and who wish to switch it to your perb handle, you can do so by PMing a mod (Olmac, Studley39 among others) and requesting them to do so.

You get to keep all of your posts from your old handle under your new handle.

This way, all that work and effort you spent in building your network and online pooner relationships don't go to waste.

In case you haven't yet noticed, at the top right hand corner of each post are 3 "buttons"..

First one is the Number # of the post, indicating which post it is in the thread..

Second one looks like Scales for weighing..you use it for Reputation points, giving positive or negative points to a poster.

Third is an Important One...it looks like a triangle, and when you mouse over it, it says "Report post"..

If the post is objectionable, you can click on this and report it as such, and a Mod can look at it fairly quickly to take action on it....helps keep the flaming and drama to a minimum..

So..Trin...big deal, you say..why is this an important feature of massageplanet?

Well, if you go on perb, you'll see that they have "disabled" this option, ..it doesn't appear at all..For a site which is supposed to be "self-policing", it doesn't offer a tool to do so..

a thread with flaming, insults, name calling etc has to run to pretty well close to a hundred replies before it comes to the attention of a Mod..cute way of ramping up the "ratings" for attracting more viewers..

LOL... there is 2 threads on Perb just this week that are just stupid. I can't believe how much open flaming there is. Including people who have spelling mistakes and bad grammar in messages that are slamming someone else's bad grammar and spelling. Of course I had to point out that fact.
