It’s called strategy and being selective on when and to whom you allocate your hard earned money. You find a few gems and develop a “relationship” which satisfies your varying needs and stick to them until it’s time to find another gem. Rinse n repeat. Also you find exclusive agencies ( real Japs) who have higher fees but lower volume. Huge difference in quality experience compared to the assembly line holistic shops.

If you can’t find these gems than you know the problem. You. When I read blokes who see a mpa many times and gets excited in hopes of receiving Bbbj or dfk, I chuckle. “Doing the same thing over and over making the same mistake is the definition of insanity”

Reasons for slow business.

1. Carbon tax is making lots of things more expensive.
2. CPP & EI increased for every working person this year which lowers your fun funds.
3. It seems like some of the girls are overcharging for services, since they are working on a ymmv business model.
4. There is shilling on here which has no factual basis and guys feel misleaded so they are venturing back to the sp for a more sure thing.

It’s not rocket science. If anyone is semi financially literate.
Real wages have not increased with rate of inflation over 20 years. Consumers are borrowing money to finance their spend due to cheap money at historic low rates. If rates ever go back to 6-8% many will feel real pain. In early 1980 during oil crisis rates were 18%!!!
I see dum ass millennials, sex workers and old folks taking on massive debt to purchase homes or condos.

Kind of what someone mention before. One reason i’ll Never go to LuLuVilla is because they have Uglier girls asking for more money. They never seem to want to give you a flat rate and ask you how much you want to give them then give you a ridiculous price.

Yeah I’m good. Lots of places with better looking girls, better service and much better pricing. I’ve met girls who could probably get away with charging more but they are very far between and if you want repeat customers you need to give them quality or something they can’t get anywhere else.
Tbh it be a lot better if you gave the money to a receptionist that knew the girls prices and what she was willing and not willing to do. Even tiering the girls so girls with the best feed back or more thought after could get paid more, but how it is now is really bad.

I find it interesting that two separate wholistics (1 Plus 1 and Sweet Spa) sought to lower their price to 120 all in, and then there are reports on the board that some of the cute gals (eg a shy swimsuit mpa in the 20s) won't agree. It is obviously harder to come up with a coherent corporate response to turbulent market conditions under such a scenario. Imagine if a sales manager at a car dealership decided to lower prices to move out more inventory, but the floor salesperson thereafter unilaterally decided not to offer the lower price to the customer!

This can’t work. In the room the girls can ask for whatever tip they want.

There are some obvious reasons (girls not looking as good, Money has become tight)

But I really think the hidden answer is the Massage industry benefited from the decline of the Strip club industry for the past decade+. Most people didn't see the value of Strip clubs anymore and migrated to spas. That growth is now gone, so mix that in with top spas charging a premium, you will understand people holding off on visits or losing regulars.

There was no value going to strip clubs on those days and now not much value at holistic spas .It seems like the trend is now changing to semi legit spas where you get much better value for your money. The business has gone up nearly two folds at where I am working now and the nearby spa compared to last yr..

You are right. What must go up must go down. Look at the Karaoke industry. In the 90s that industry if booming. heck there are 2 Karaoke places in Pacific Mall along. Nowadays the only one that I am aware of is the located Sandhurst Circle and Finch (that one is not authentic karaoke).

Very well said. There was no value going to strip clubs on those days and now not much value at holistic spas .It seems like the trend is now changing to semi legit spas where you get much better value for your money. Trust me. Nobody is watching and paying attention to this entire industry the way I do. I enjoy watching the show more than being in it.

Everything goes through a product life-cycle: introduction, growth, maturity, and decline.

Customers didn't want to pay $20 for a dance or $200 for extras. At the same time, internet marketing started growing and customers were now informed of the options, Backpages, Agencies and Parlours. Massage Parlours were not as risking as BP and Agencies, but better value then the Strip Clubs. It was the perfect middle ground.

Now, after 10+ years of accumulated knowledge of the industry, the customers are smarter and more calculated with their spending. Competition is more abundant. I see more talk about semi-legit places than actual Body Rub spas. MPs are turning into the strip clubs. Stagnant, no new ideas, pricey and sold out to the lie that extras keep customers.

All strip clubs are operating at a loss. And I'm telling you over 50% of licensed Spas are operating at a loss or near. Go check them out, most of them are dead even at peak times.

What's next? I'm won't go into full detail what I think, but overall I believe being independent and empowering yourself is the future.
