Mongering in Post COVID-19 world
I wonder how mongering will work once the lockdown eases down. I think most bar balas will run back home as soon as the lockdown eases out.
Service Bars would have to go out of business as they are the polar opposite of Social Distancing.
I expect there would be major and frequent raids on such bars in the near future.

DBs and OBs would probably have to move even further away from cities where they may have to hire large grounds and put up cloth mandaps to let people follow norms of Social Distancing. Groping / fondling would probably remain a game only for the dabang Monger.

I suspect the return of bar balas would begin only after the rainy season. The slow return and low presence would exert major inflationary impact on Mongering when it restarts. I presume the base price of 500 for 30 mins of fun may rise to a 1000. If the return of the balas takes long enough, Rs 1000 for 30 mins of fun at SB would stabilize as the new norm by December 2020.

The demand supply mismatch will also lead to greater fighting and reduction in quality of girls as well as their services. Expect more bar-fights.

The increased police scrutiny, frequent raids, bar-fights, drop in quality of bar balas and services will eventually lead to infrequent mongers moving away in search of greener pastures. Some of the new mongers too would get discouraged due to lower CSAT. The COVID infection paranoia would auto-discourage DFK, LFK. Entry too would get reduced in frequency.

So I think it is time to put on your Columbus hat and start looking for alternatives.

That's a pretty gloomy situation that you have painted.
However, would'nt supply-demand will work both ways, as mongers will shy away visiting if they can't find the quality eventually leading owners to shut down the shutters?. In optimistic view, to survive would'nt hot balas shed attitude and be more promiscuous with regular mongers?....I just wish the owners don't act like real estate market and keep prices high artifically even wen they are not able to sell............ But i agree with your point that most of the balas will move to their gao as soon as they are able to.

I don't know what gonna happen but this calamity has allowed me to save a bunch of money which would have lost in lust!!

Agreed bro with the thought of wearing a Columbus hat post-lockdown.

But I doubt that prices will inflate for bar girls in general.
At such situations, IMO one should never search for general rule of thumb or new trends as they actually revolve with time.
Better way would be to handle things on case to case (girl to girl) basis.

There would be girls not getting paid even a penny and few whose demand will shoot like a rocket.


Few people will change their habits. Habits r like gravity. One tends to fall back towards it.

There will be few who will grow conscious of spending and cut down mongering expenses.
Few will realise the mortality even more and would start living by spending even more to live every moment.

Whatever it may be, It would be an interesting time to live for sure.

With due respect, I have read these nostradmus style doomsday scenarios here in the past also. If you read the posts of 2 years ago, the original Uncle Sam made similar predictions about extinction of the DB/SBs then in response to aggressive police action. Nothing like that played out.

जब दंगे को का तीसरा दिन था तो प्रशासन और UP के CM इस दंगे पे कुछ भी न कर रहे थे... मूक दर्शक बने बैठे थे...

तब मऊ से 64 KM दूरी पे गोरखपुर में बैठे योगी जी को ये दंगा बर्दास्त न हुआ और वो BJP के सारे बड़े नेता... अटल जी, आडवाणी जी, मुरली जी और राजनाथ जी को सीधा चुनोती दे दिये, अगर BJP के सारे कार्यकर्ता मेरे साथ मऊ नहीं गये तो परिणाम बहुत बुरा होगा।।

दंगा तो मैं अपने बल पे भी रोक लूँगा...पर ऐसे हत्यायों को अगर BjP पार्टी बस देख के चुप रहेगी तो मुझसे बर्दास्त न होगा और मैं BJP छोड़ दूँगा...
BJP के सारे नेताओ को योगी जी के इस बात से पसीना आ गया... पर BJP के सारे नेता हिम्मत ही नही जुटा पा रहे थे इस दंगे को जा के रोकने का,

वजह सिंर्फ़ एक था... CM मुलायम
क्योंकि इस BJP के सारे नेताओ को पता था, की जब अयोध्या में कार्यसेवकों पे ये मुलायम गोली चलवा सकता है... जो कार्यसेवक पूरे देश से आये थे तब ये गोली चलवा दिया...

तब ये तो एक छोटे से शहर में दंगा को रोकने जाना है, जहाँ दंगा करवाने वाला भी एक कुख्यात अपराधी है...
इन दोनों से बच पाना तो मुश्किल है... और इस घटना में बहुत से BjP के कार्यकर्ता मारे जायेगे,

तब ये सारे विरिष्ठ नेता धीमे से कन्नी काट लिये योगी जी से... क्योंकि उनको लगा ये योगी बिना BJP के कार्यकर्ताओं के वहाँ जा ही नही सकता है... क्योंकि मुख्तार अंसारी पिछले 2 साल से योगी जी को मरवाना चाहता था, और असफल भी कई दफा हुआ है... योगी जी अकेले तो वहाँ नहीं जायेंगे,

पर योगी जी भी कम जिद्दी नही थे... वो अपने आश्रम से सिंर्फ़ 3 गाड़ी ले के चल दिये मऊ...

फिर क्या जैसे ही गोरखपुर के लोगो को और गोरखपुर से मऊ के बीच के लोगो को पता चला योगी जी मऊ जा रहे दंगा रुकवाने... सारे लोग योगी जी के साथ हो लिये क्योंकि सबको पता था, अगर योगी जी अकेले गये तो ये मुख्तार जान से मरवा देगा...

मऊ पहुँचते पहुँचते 140 से 160 गाड़ियों का काफिला हो गया, और मऊ में घुसते ही जब सारी गाड़ी आगे निकल रही थी, तभी उनके अंतिम 8 गाड़ियों पे पेट्रोल बम फेंका गया जो सिंर्फ़ 2 गाड़ियों पे पड़ा... जब सारे लोग गाड़ी से उतरने लगे तो ये पेट्रोल बम फेंकने वालों को मौत का ख़ौफ़ लगने लगा और वो सभी भागने लगे...

और मुलायम साफ शब्दों में बोल दिये थे अगर योगी मऊ पहुँचा तो अरेस्ट कर लिया जाये...

तभी प्रशासन भागे भागे योगी जी के काफ़िले की तरफ पहुँचा, प्रशासन के भी हाथ पांव फूलने लगा इतना काफ़िला देख के... इस प्रशासन की हिम्मत ही न हुआ कि अरेस्ट कर सके...
फ़िर उसी दिन मऊ का दंगा खत्म भी हुआ....

वजह जानते हो क्यों? क्योंकि यही प्रशासन जब CM मुलायम को ये बताया कि अगर हम योगी जी को अरेस्ट करेगे तो, ये काफ़िले के लोग हम लोगो को जान से मार देंगे, और मुख्तार को भी नही छोड़ेंगे,

While I do agree with you regarding no changes in SB/DB/OB rates - vaccine development is usually measured in years. Even if Coronavirus vaccine is developed in 12-18 months, it would be rolled out in phases to see people’s immune response, and that usually takes 6-12 months.
So in total, it’s 2.5 years to 3 years.
Would bars survive for these 2-3 years? It’s rather political I would say.

On a different note, I think/predict (based on my instinct) that the cases in India wont improve, rather it would become worse post new lockdown. A lot depends on what the situation would be when new lockdown ends. So let’s see.

Once local train and public transport starts, i don't see any logic in bars being kept shut.
As we all know how crowded Mumbai locals and buses are, were social distancing will go for a toss...

In one interview he said, in his personal capacity he has donated for both.

I personally feel this not the forum for political discussion.

As we all are together here for sharing mongering experience, irrespective of political differences we all may have.
In politics there is no permanent enemy or friend, you never know BJP- SS may even again come together? So why we all spoil relationship among ourselves within forum and outside forum too.

There is no BJP vs SS issue here. Problem is that Fadanavis is playing seriously dirty politics.
My uncle who is an officer at BMC told me very clearly that they had clear instructions from scientific advisors of UT as follows:.
1) Knowing India's hygiene levels and lopsided population distribution, every major Indian city are bound to have at least 10,000 cases (asymptomatic / symptomatic) and that too by a conservative estimate.
2) All these infected people are at large and are agents of community transmission.
3) Once you find them, you can quarantine them and reduce risk to society
4) So test aggressively.
5) The more you discover and quarantine, the less is the risk to society
6) Show off the numbers proudly

With this in mind, UT egged the BMC and the state machinery to test and find more. Even declare asymptomatic cases honestly.

But things started changing when other states began hiding their figures. Especially Delhi, Gujarat and MP. To make things worse Fadaavis and his cronies have started making all these stupid noises and is positioning as if higher discoveries are a problem instead of an achievement.

Due to this the NCP and Congress are now putting pressure on Sena to go slow on testing. Thankfully, he has not relented. But there is fear in the BMC ranks that sooner or later UT will give in.

In one interview he said, in his personal capacity he has donated for both.

I personally feel this not the forum for political discussion.

Despite of political indifference there should be oneness when state/country is suffering.
Take it like I'm not personally addressing to you, I am talking in general what I see & understand.

Why every BJP MLA/MP is posting pics on social media that he/she has donated to PM cares & motivating people to do it.
I mean it's good as far as donation is concerned but why to highlight PM cares only, is it like branding or another event.
What about fund transparency related topic, the link I shared in earlier post. Any forum member has logical & clear answer on it I will accept.

Fadanvis is clever politician, did study only in last 5 years & a politics to show others are inferior to him.

Who started #UddhavResign trend on twitter in current crucial scenario. What was need of it ?

There is no BJP vs SS issue here. Problem is that Fadanavis is playing seriously dirty politics.
My uncle who is an officer at BMC told me very clearly that they had clear instructions from scientific advisors of UT as follows:.
1) Knowing India's hygiene levels and lopsided population distribution, every major Indian city are bound to have at least 10,000 cases (asymptomatic / symptomatic) and that too by a conservative estimate.
2) All these infected people are at large and are agents of community transmission.
3) Once you find them, you can quarantine them and reduce risk to society
4) So test aggressively.
5) The more you discover and quarantine, the less is the risk to society
6) Show off the numbers proudly

With this in mind, UT egged the BMC and the state machinery to test and find more. Even declare asymptomatic cases honestly.

But things started changing when other states began hiding their figures. Especially Delhi, Gujarat and MP. To make things worse Fadaavis and his cronies have started making all these stupid noises and is positioning as if higher discoveries are a problem instead of an achievement.

Due to this the NCP and Congress are now putting pressure on Sena to go slow on testing. Thankfully, he has not relented. But there is fear in the BMC ranks that sooner or later UT will give in.

You are right, the countries who started testing aggressively have been in better position to control it like South Korea and Singapore or Japan.. but the ones who did not take testing as seriously as they should have are now the most vulnerable... Like Italy and US.
We in india are surely bunch of jokers and are waiting for disaster.. IMO UT should not give in and continue to do aggressive testing. The more testing is done the better are our chances.
BJP has been shamelessly showing its colours all throughout last 6 years so, the fadanavis episode & and the media chutiyapa doesn't really surprise me.
Let me tell you, the states who are not taking testing seriously are sitting on a ticking time bomb waiting to explode.
The problem with BJP in Maharashtra is that UT has shown tremendous administrative skills and surprised everyone because most of people thought that he will succumb under these circumstances. But he has not.
Testing should be done aggressively as we don't know how far it will take for the vaccine to be available...
Just read some of the statement from WHO and why they are insisting on aggressive testing.
Kudos to UT btw.

Nice to see atleast you remember and quoted the incident. Mob lynching in any form be it against community is organised crime and such crimes can not be tolerated in civilized part of society. However this incident was notified to Home minister same day which may not be in your knowledge. This shows how much u hate people of RSS. RSS being Hindus u indirectly hate Hindus and sadhus. Hello All my fellow mongers,
I just want to share my views about the lock-down effect on bar scenario.
According to me, once lockdown is removed atleast 3-4 month we will avoid to visit any crowded area because of our safety and most important our family.
People have feared and lots responsibility towards their families.
Currently if you will see the condition of bars and hotel business is so pathetic. After this crisis they just want to run their business as normal, so people came and visit them.
If we talk about girls, lots of them are still in mumbai and their pocket is empty. In this condition they will not go home with empty handed. They all are eager to please the customer to earn the money for their basic needs and family.
So, i think the price will not hike as much as we are thinking.
Looking for your suggestions on same.
