I finally was able to see Jodi for the first time yesterday late afternoon. Obviously there's not much more to be said that hasn't been said, but Jodi you were so sweet and such a pleasure to talk to, and treated me like a king. And it was great to hear about your book, sounds like a fascinating idea. Got my phone working again but the kids crashed again last night. Its itunes doing it. It was happening before I got her the phone... uninstalled and reinstalled itunes 3 times yesterday, thought it was fixed and it crashed her phone again last night so I dont dare plug mine in while its working.

You should update your software. If there's an update for your iTunes, it just might fix everything.

yesterday evening the phone crashed again and when I plugged in the kids phone, it crashed too. Its obviously itunes. I wont be online until about 1 pm today guys. I wont receive any calls or texts until this is fixed. If anyone has any idea how to uninstall itunes without loseing thousands of songs, please let me know!

Ok guys Im up and running... the apple store fixed it though they have no idea why it crashed. Turns out last nights appointment had texted me and cancelled anyways, of course lol. This time that worked out!

You may want to consider a backup cheapo phone .....

Bring your computer with itunes library too so that the whole thing is set straight. Sounds like you need to save your backup file in itunes and need to reinstall itunes and restore your phone and update it with your backup contacts and itunes library but if you are not tech savy do it with the apple genius.

In the mean time maybe throw up a skype number and email contact so you can take calls. Just an idea.

I tried it right away, tried everything actually and nothing worked. Who knows if my two appointments where on the corner last night trying to call me. This has never happened and I see now I should have a backup plan just in case. The apple store told me to bring the phone in today so I cant get any calls until this is fixed
If the two people I had to let down last night are reading, please forgive me, there was nothing I could do to reach you!

not sure if it will help jodi, but you could give it a shot:

Reset your iPhone: Note that this is not Restoring your iPhone; that's the button in iTunes that wipes the iPhone and all your information on it. Resetting an iPhone is nothing more than a hard reset or a forced reboot - you're simply cutting the power and making it reboot. To do this, hold the sleep/wake button and Home buttons simultaneously for a few seconds; the display will quickly wipe itself and you should see the black background and white Apple logo, signifying a reset well done.
