With this most recent lock-down, it will be the straw that broke the camel's back.
Prices are going to fall at retail stores because no one is buying.

But power tools, things for the home etc that aren't in limited supply will see big sales going on.

I am already seeing the price drops on power tools, as much as 40% off the real, actual, every day prices.
People can't find the money because this most recent lockdown is killing off the few that were hanging on.

Permitting police to pull over cars and pedestrians, would spread the virus even more. The more personal interaction between police and the public would create more problems than what Ford is trying to solve.

A police officer has the legal right to stop your car if he 'believes' it is unsafe.
As in, the officer thinks the car is mechanically unsafe.

But the kicker is that the officer doesn't need any mechanically understanding of vehicles and he doesn't even have to be correct in his assessment.
He can simply state that he 'believed' your car was unsafe, wether it is or isn't.

Translation: The officer can stop you for whatever reason he can make up in his head.
And that's the way its always been.

I'm shocked at the number of people, politicians and media, who forgot that last year the police in Toronto already had the power to randomly pull over drivers and question them to enforce the COVID-19 Stay-at-home order. I know because it happened to a friend of mine, and their employer told them if you get pulled over, show your I.D. and they will let you go no problem. Back then, apparently John Tory and his minions had no issue with infringing on our Charter Rights. This time around, it was suddenly too much and Tory is speaking up??

The airport issue is a 100% preventable disaster that is on Turdope's shoulders. Pandering to special interests while we're all stuck at home, and the gutless media took way too long to call him and Hajdu out for their lies.
