Went to see Dana, I hadn’t seen her before, and it’d been a very long time since I’d been to No1.
Dana gives a very deep massage, different styles mixed in, pressure points and sweeping whole body moves. Some nice teasing moments and some excellent glute work. On the Flip 100% legit , covered, but still an awesome massage, would definitely repeat as this place direct bills with my shit insurance company!
Dana is a slightly larger lady , which is great for the deep pressure that I prefer, I never asked for anything, neither was anything else hinted at! 8.5/10

I have to erase all my previous comments about getting good massage elsewhere - so long I have been blind.

Went to No1 and met Nancy - just realized this is what a true massage is. So wonderful, so good, so relaxing.

I didn't read reviews about Nancy before going in to No1, but read them after and I can vouch - hands down she is one of the best in Edmonton.

Fully legit, very little teasing, but I was so relaxed with the massage - didn't even bother asking for extras.

A few things that made the experience wonderful
- direct billing.
- Nancy's body type (fits perfectly with my expectations), though it was legit, the feel that a person with body type you adore is touching you makes it much better.
- ofcourse the massage.
- location and parking.
- staff - everyone was smiling and welcoming and kept the place happy and enjoyable.
- no noise from outside.

The only thing I may have done wrong is tip $20 to Nancy not knowing she's reviewed so great here. Had I read the reviews before, would have appreciated with better tip.

I have been looking for a fav to stick with and found mine. Not sure if Nancy would remember me with the small tip

$20 tip is perfectly fine for a legit massage. I go to an RMT regularly, and always leave $20. She is super thankful, she told me most people leave 10.

If you go to a really high end place they might expect more, but for a regular shop, if you don't get a HE 20 bucks is fine. I think on average they get 50% of the massage price, plus tip, so that would be $60 for the hour, that's more than probably a lot of us make.

Thanks for the confidence booster TBone. With my insurance, I can be a regular once a month and $20 tip isn't be a problem for once a month.

Hoping to get more attention from Nancy next time. I have tipped $40 few times and $60 most times for a RMT quality massage and good finish. Is that in the ballpark or is it low/high?

You got it right Yegboy. I usually tip 60 for Happy and then 20 per item as the clothes fly off, probably on the high end, but that's just me.

Lynn, Chinese, 20s, pretty & funny - all Nancy's words as I didn't see her in person. Lynn was in the next room and was all loud laughter and talking. She works only on Sat & Sun.

Yes I did today. She is a very nice young lady. Very well educated and speaks a perfect almost accent free English. I am very impressed by her personality and her massage skills. I never had such a conversation with a massage therapist. Please treat her with respect.

Another perspective: yes pretty, educated, funny, great personality. Massage 2/10 for me. Maybe she was tired. Maybe I have high expectations. But she has no training or license and it showed. Great advertising as always by the owner.
