I think it is not fair for criticize VivaMex for doing off side business. As long as they provide a satify massage service for their clients we should be careless about other thing. Everyone wants to make more money anyway they can these days, don't they? If you don't want to use the other service there then don't. It's might not be benefit for you but it's might be benefit for someone else.

I was a customer of Aztec's for eight years before I opened VivaMex. One thing I can tell for sure is that the difference in training between VivaMex & Aztec therapists is spectacular.

Our therapists have all had comprehensive massage training. They understand the blood flow of the body and the medical reasons why they do what they do. There is no comparison, medically-speaking, between the two establishments.

As far as the idea of doing one thing, and one thing only, respectfully I dissagree again. Our therapists are trained in facial, pedicure, manicure amd other skills. Are you saying that this additional expertise is somehow a negative?

As long as we are on the subject of specialization, what does another division of our company, BestMexicanDentists.com, located in another country, have to do with our therapists' ability to provide a superior service?

What about my other businesses and hobbies, do they detract from the ability of the therapists at VivaMex Spa to do their jobs?

It's late and I'm tired. Usually I try to ignore this kind of mindless commentary. We all have our weaknesses.

It is Lake Forest, and I got my start when working in Phoenix at 28th street and Van Buren.

Crispy Creme is what is sold in most gas stations.

I am not going to argue that AMPM has good food, but I will say they will lose gas business if they do not have that warmer stocked well at key parts of the day.

Sampson one of the reasons why I used VivaMexSpa before and Azteca almost exclusively now is because their therapists Did only massages, and they were TRAINED in the art of massage. The other places in TJ Like Mermaids where the girls carry health cards try to do both, give you a massage and FUCK YOU as a finish. Often times they spend only enough time on the massage to figure out how much you are going to pay them for SEX. Sometimes you walk out of there getting a bad massage and bad SEX, but usually the SEX is pretty GOOD, and the massage bad.

Once again people would be better off if the concentrate on one thing, and do that one thing EXTREMELY well.

You know what Sampson I'm gong to stay up and try to "BRAINSTORM' what other business you and your 'escorts' could do during slow periods. But remember if you follow my advice or go out on your own, you do so at your own peril.

A month or so ago I posted on TJA looking for BigDogg because I had not heard from him in a while and I was worried about him because he is in a dangerous line of work. I consider Bigdogg a friend, in fact he gave me some very sound business advice that drew upon his experience and I was/am most appreciative.

So, I take Bigdogg's feedback seriously.

His comments that there is sometimes nobody in reception is something I have suspected for a while. When I discovered his comments today it gave me the hard proof I needed to solve this problem. Thanks Bigdogg.

Next point: NOBODOY, I repeat, NOBODY is more important to us than regular customers. Occaisionaly I, or Josefina get e-mail, face-to-face feedback or phone calls from regular customers about a problem they have had. NOTHING get's our attention faster and more completely than an unhappy or concerned, regular customer. If you are a regular customer and you feel like you should receive a free massage because of any kind of problem whatsoever, just ask and you will have it. It's more than worth it to us to give away a free massage to A. keep a regular customer happy and B. to get information on how we can improve our service for others.

The spa want's to make money and so do the therapists. We earn money only when we are providing services to our customers. We have no incentive to deny, delay or otherwise mistreat our customers - it is not something we ever intentionally do. When you see therapists sitting in the restaurant and the receptionist tells you they are unavailable, they are just that - unavailable. If you have ever worked in a retail business you know that customers tend to show up in groups - busy, busy, busy, not so busy any more. Trust me the therapists want to work and the commission and tips they receive are very importent to them. If they are on a break, usually they will cut it short and serve the customer. If however they have been working (and it is hard work) for three hours straight and they have not eaten lunch, I dont think it's fair to become angry with them for wanting to have a break and a good meal. The therapists may also be waiting for a customer to finish their shower or for, as happens frequently, a customer who is a few minutes late for an appointment.

As far as BestMexicanDentists.com is concerned here is my viewpoint; we saw a need to provide quality referrals from the more than 3000 dentists in Tijuana. I hired a guy to find ten great dentists for us to recommend. He checked their facilities, their credentials and spoke with at least five of their patients to be sure they are satisfied.

Whenever we refer a patient we also check back with them after their treatment to be sure everything worked out as well as they had hoped. Usually the answer is "yes" but when it is "no", as happens once in a while, we follow up with both dentist and patient. This of course helps us provide a valuable service.

Do we make money on this? Sure we do, a 15% commission. Believe me it's a lot of work for the money, but we are doing very well with this service. Again the proof is in the large number of happy cusomers we have accumulated.

Thanks again to all of our loyal, regular, spa customers. Because of your support we had our best month ever in July.

As an old manager from gas stations I remember the push to train employees on coffee procedures and having all the flavors available and keep times, etc. on the coffee. It is a chore but when trained right, they provide excellent coffee. I believe I sold about 300 cups a morning at my station when I was in Lake Forest....Donuts are made fresh each morning and delivered, with full credit given for any that did not sell.

Actually if you did not offer more than gas and oil you would go out of business real fast. People don't want to three stop.

If I was going to expand an item I could seel would be a small Spanish/English dictionary. I suppose I could carry Vitamin V etc., but I do not want the potential headaches. I am sure there are items I can "cross merchandise" like a chip display surrounded by 12 packs of beer.

VivaMexSpa should be CONCENTRATING on giving massages, but if they want to get GREEDY and go into other things, I'm just going to continue going to Azteca, who only do one thing: MASSAGES, and they do it very WELL.

I actually have talked to you more than him, but I call him my friend. I believe that he gives advice based on reputation, as he would not want to send you to a bad dentist as it would ruin his reputation.

I do know that when I was visiting with him a couple of weeks ago, they had about 5 therapists down in the restaurant. It very well be(but I will admit I do not know) that there is a cooling of period after a massage. Anotherwords a therapist needs a break between jobs or the quality may suffer.

I will see if I can get you direct answers, but from my experience he makes good well thought out decisions. I have seen Mike 3 times now, and two of them are when I stopped in to see him and wish him well and the third was at the last fiesta.

Sometimes we will have to agree to disagree as I think the blood testing is a great idea and i think he will do well with it.

As for my business, we do not offer service to locals. The chicas do not want neighbors and relatives as clients. We are competing for the American client who does business North of the border.

I do not believe Mike is catering to the locals or he wouldn't be on Rev. He could have less rent and overhead if he was off of that street.

I hope I answered everything, and I will try and get a definitive answer later.

VivaMex Spa is still ok, but I just think you can't beat Azteca, as it's a lot cheaper in price, they quote you in both pesos and dollars, and you just can't beat their two Therapist massage, which use to be only $5 dollars more, but the price might have went up, as I havent' had a two person massage in a few years, but I recently had a one person massage for $25 for one hour, and it sure beat VivaMex Spa with their $30 45 min massage.

Westfargo was a nut and posted on many sites. Many of his posts ended up being fiction, but he did have a knack for paying the least for pussy. He also use to sneak beer into AB and drink back in hottie central under the heater(I am not sure that heater is still there) We often say a few words in his memory at our fiestas. You don't have to buy beer, but yes the waiters will stare at you if you don't buy something, and at AB I hear cheap guys getting KICKED OUT of there all the time, or doing things like sneaking in empty beer bottles, and God know what else.

You can always buy water or a coke, but keep in mind sometimes you pay more for the bottle of water than a beer. Also remember these places are really bars, and most places don't make money off the girls going upstairs with you, they make money selling alcohol so buy something when you go to these places, unless you're like me, who takes a quick glance, and if I don't like it I leave, but if I stay, I buy a beer, and when I can't drink anymore I get a Coke, water, and even sometimes coffiee for FREE.

If you don't drink that's fine, but don't come here and tell me you don't like putting out a few bucks for a bottle of BEER.

I hear that Westfargo guy is a freak, with funny stories, and shit that he pulls, but I'm not that familar with him.:{ that site ChicaChica.net was hacked, and it has been down since, I doubt if it will ever come back up,}

[1] i have only been to TJ once and every club i went to i had to buy a beer, anyway way to get around it? or when are the good times that beer is cheap?
