Being that Qster was asking about petite masseuses, now would be a great time to give a review of one of my most recent massages:

I've only had one massage with Anna since she moved here. I've unsuccessfully tried walkins, and last minute bookings.

A long time ago, I got a massage with a 30 plus lady who maybe was covering for Ivy. Ivy was away at the time. I don't remember her name, but she gave a great massage, and really knew her muscles, right down to their scientific names. I won't bother commenting much more than that, as she appears to be gone already. In the next box, I will review the petite Ivy instead...

Ivy: twenties, glasses, at first glance-average looks and body, around 5" tall

Massage Prep: 1. She took off her glasses for the massage, which made her look cute.
2. Put the towel on to drape me, but wasn't shy around the glutes and groins. 3. Wore lululemons, but also long t-shirt...so nothing sexy.

Massage style (A Great Mix) 1. Asked what my problem areas were and worked very hard, and successfully...at getting the muscles to feel better. 2. Like Yan from Tulip, she does the vigorous rubbing technique, but technically way better.
3. Like Sarah from Amazing Spa, she mixes a great blend of relaxing Swedish strokes, plus let's her forearms flow over you to different degrees of pressure. 4. Her version of accupressure is not like Kiya, now at No.1. She finds the meridians between the muscles, presses and glides her thumbs, and forefingers at different pressures across your body. 5. She spent a long time on my glutes, like Lisa at Top Points, 137th.ave.and 127th.street. 6. She sat on my back to get a better deep tissue experience, like Nini at Blue Sky.

So...a really good massage, and great customer service. But...like many young therapists: she spent so much time on the problem areas, multiple areas were missed.
If you miss my feet, head/face...I might be back. But more than that...not likely.

As for extras: I didn't ask...nor did I want to. I concluded right away, based on experience, that it's very unlikely. But YMMV!!

Massage Room: with Anna, I was in the first room, across from the desk. And recently, they have added, In front of the desk, a lovely dragon fountain.

The room I most recently had (And with both ladies) was directly across from a bathroom, which was connected to a shower room. Both had their own doors. Fresh bath towels, nice shower with sliding doors, elevated by steps. No robe, but the bathroom had neatly folded cloth hand towels for individual use, (A nice touch).

The room itself was small and decorated...with a picture of a tree, ironically much like the one I saw painted at O'Massage. The massage table cushion was soft and the music was perfect.

I've been wanting to try Ivy, or one of the new ladies there, but Anna is always so happy to see me I feel bad for asking to see someone else

I asked about the new girl, and I guess there are 2 who only work part time, I think the names were Jolin and Celia, but I didn't see them.
Has anyone tried the new girls there?

Never tried them or seen them, and didn't even know they had others. I forgot the name of my last masseuse, but her name was not Jolin or Celia.

When she's booked, It's been Anna recommending the new or newer girls.
Twice I said yes, but usually I say no and head over to a different favorite place, or lady. Sometimes my poor, aching body... just can't take the chance that it won't be looked after properly.

She must be getting popular again, because I sure haven't had any luck with walkins or last minute attempts at booking her.
