Tj is safer now than I have ever seen it... Cops arew looking for Drugs and weapons all the time. I still hear about the occasional shakedown. but they seem to be less frquent than ever.

I have to say that I never thought this thread would grow so much...Or maybee I did. Anyways Yes it is still dangerous in Tijuana...Not as bad as it used to be when I started this thread. I have been searched by the local cops five or six times now and only once did i end up losing any money. By the way if you ever get in trouble ask to go to the Judge. There is a judge sitting the bench in tj 24/7. It is cheaper than paying off the cops.

Yeah, I had that experience too. Althought I wasn't anywhere in TJ, but in Rosarito. Pay for meals in a restaurant, waiter bought back my US 20 bill and said it was torn, a small torn in the upper corner and asked for another one.

Heading out Monday afternoon around 3pm July 3rd. Anyone want to come along. I hooked up with Harpo yesterday for my 1st visit, an excellent adventure was had and I will write about it soon. It has been awhile, but I was there last Saturday and had a great time. Went to Peanuts (sucked) and Pussycat (sucked) on Rev. then went back to Adelitas and Chicago to take care of business. Had no problems even with all the walking we did (buddy was looking for a girl he knew). Did not run into any problems/hassles at all. Of course, it's still a good idea to be on guard and alert, keeping the roaming to few designated areas.

Been thinking that I need a trip to TJ this summer. With all the anti-illegal immigration, I was wondering if we are still able to Monger with no problems from TJ locals or Federales? ANyone heard of any issues or are we ok to cross the border and find action on our own (solo) or do we need to travel in numbers?

I go EVERY Sunday. I never miss. I leave OC about 11am and leave TJ
@ 8pm or 11pm. I stay for at least 2 days EVERY holiday. I'm a seasoned
TJ monger.
