I know I saw something about these fabulous salt rocks, on this site before.  I thought the prices were high and beyond my affordablity.  Well, recently at our mall, they have a kiosk (I hope that's how you spell it) that has these salt rocks.  And they are very affordable.  I got one and have it in my livingroom and asked "Santa" for two more.....one for the bedroom and one for my massage room.  So I thought I would share their website with you so if you wanted to order one you could.  I'm in no way associated with these people.  Just trying to save you guys some money.  I don't know how much their shipping is.  www.WoodlandCreekFurniture.comThen just click onto the salt lamps.  jamie

Hi!  I have the same sort of lamp that I got at a Holistic EXpo.  The 2nd smallest size was either 50$ or 60$.  The gentleman ships them free.  He is located in NJ and says MTs are his best customers.The price on that site seems good, but I didn't check to see what shipping costs.I love mine.  Wish I could keep it at home.  Eventually I will get another.  My mother got me the one I have.  It became my Hanukah present.

I didn't even know this place was local.  They have a little kiosk at our mall.  The small ones are about $28 to 30.  Then a medium sized one........$38.99.  Then a larger one for $48.99.  I use that one for my livingroom.  The lady I bought mine from, said she has nine of them in her house.  It sure makes the air cleaner smelling and fresh.  I love mine and want a couple more.  I asked them what the shipping costs are.  Will let everyone know when I find out.

The gentleman I bought mine from told me I could put drops of EOs on my lamp and the heat from the lamp would diffuse it and not to worrry, the scent would disappear.Well, it was about 2 months until I decided to risk putting grapefruit essential oil on my lamp.  I didn't want to ruin the lamp by limiting it to smelling like grapefruit, but I wanted to try it.I find it to be true.  The smell doesn't stay with the lamp.When I used to be into making bath items I was told to put extra EOs in bath salts because they seem to need a lot of scent added.Who knew the salt was so effective.  Okay, I am sure a lot of you knew!  C

Your welcome.  The candleholders are available at the kiosk at our mall.  They look nice.  Let me know how you like yours if you get one.  I have a medium sized salt lamp in my house and I have four large dogs......and sometimes the house smells like dog.  You can't smell the dogs any more.  I does make the air feel good.  It feels like the air after a rain storm.  I thought they were a big farce till I heard someone on this message board talking about  them.  And the website they mentioned......they were really expensive.  I talked to the sales clerk at the mall, selling them.  She said she doesn't know why the other places are charging so much for them........as every one is paying the same price to obtain them.  I just love mine.  Bought one for my daughter and my son for christmas.

My mother got one for my brother and sister-in-law with the hopes that it woulc help the dogs chill out and get along.  They think it makes things worse.  I love mine.  The interesting thing is that my brother tends to sense ghosts and has already had poltergeist activity happen- things thrown at him.  My sister in law senses 3 ghosts in the house and one interrupts her sleep.  She has been told that she was told by a psychic to get a spiritual cleansing.  She says she doesn't mind the ghosts unless they touch her.  ??? I don't think I could deal with that...I think with them  their lamp isn't large enough.  It's one of the smallest ones.  If I may be allowed to be bizarre, I think the "otherworld" thinks the lamp is a joke and so they bother her more.I would get them a larger lamp but I think it would only increase their anxiety.I lived in that house for a long time and never had a ghostly experience.  hmmm....any intuitives out there care to take a stab at this one?

just a thought .......i've always been troubled by spirits bothering me even from a little girl.  and of course i heard all the different things from grandma who was spiritual in ancient ways she comes from a line of healers, to my mom who is so christian.  2 way different points.......... but i would always be bothered in my sleep, and i can walk in to a place or go to a place and feel different things from good to bad, sometimes so powerful i cant catch my breath.  prayer would always make it go away!  but i've been through some bizzare things with that type of phenomenon. any hoot, see if they have bought something new into the house that may not belong, or some energy might have followed them home if they were taking part in opening those kinds of energy with different groups ect.......they could always talk to it and tell them to go home or go to the light.  i've been told all kinds a stuff even a famous things my ancestors told me to swear at it and tell em to get the ---- out of here!  i don't know what culture that came from! but it does work!!!!!!!!!!!  bless the home.................2 cents

Nope- I don't think it smells like salt.  My mother gave her small lamp to a woman who owns a daycare since she always wants to foster positivity there.  I printed out the benefits of the lamps (that were on the website) and gave them to her.  She's excited.  She's neat.  She has Chincillas at the daycare, used to own prairie dogs, spent $900 to try to save a gerbil, own 7 dogs- 5 labs, 1 pitt, 1 mini-pin/chiwawa (spelled wrong ) mix.  Anyway- about the spirit life at my brother and mother's place- don't know...  I don't worry much about it.  I think the salt lamps could help there, they just aren't enough for that much chaos.Happy New Year Everyone!!!C

Salt lamps are wonderful, they give off a very lovely orange glow. We had them all over in  the massage school I went to. The owner gave my a bag of smaller ones that i have yet made into a lamp lol.Also he said that if you get a bunch of smaller ones aboutgolf ball size or smaller i guess that you can put them in your bath. Havent tryed that either lol.
