I tried to visit this place earlier this week, but no one answered the door. At about 4:20 I had called the number given by Stinkhammer, and a man answered who appeared to be the owner--he asked how I got this number because it was his personal cell phone. He said that the place was still under construction and hasn't really gotten started yet. But he added that the girls were (probably?) in session but should be free around 5 or 5:15. He gave me the address, 701 Richmond, and said that he would be going over there and asked if he could call me back then. I said yes, but he didn't call. I drove to the place--a new or refurbished two-story office building with good parking and lots of different kinds of shops along the long halls inside. I saw one salon (a great looking girl there among several workers, but did not appear to be massage) and two massage places. Some establishments had open doors, and most were closed or not yet open, and each had a small, discrete sign adjacent to the (mostly closed) solid doors, with no way to look inside the door. Desert in Bloom was on the bottom floor at the rear of the alcove that had the restrooms. I think it was Suite 130. Has anyone else been there yet? Has anyone else seen Helen or Aida? What does Aida look like? Stinkhammer referred to good comments about her on ASPD, but I couldn't find them by searching here and on ERAPS.

I booked an appointment there day before yesterday, but had to book around their construction schedule due to the noise. Like Stinkhammer said, the place is definitely upscale, professional, great music, candle lit rooms and the massage is seriously good... lots of hot towels, hot stones and Thai stretching. They told me the new expanded part of the facility with the aromatherapy steam shower should be complete next week and gave me a tour... It looks great, one of the best facilities I've seen in Houston. I think they work by appointment only.

Ditto on Helen, just like Stinkhammer said. Nice looking lady with a sweet personality and a great massage and good technique.

Yes, definitely call ahead. I have yet to find Aida there and have called 3-4 times since I saw Helen. It should be really nice when finished.

I was about to book an appointment but now your post raise some red flag.

I would try it out but I read the review again and the tip amount does not sound right, too nice almost suggesting me to tip the same.

I will wait for a review from a veteran. The reviewer and the other poster are all recent registered members, 2 days apart! I don't like the "upscale" reference by both of them either. Almost sounds like a coordinated ad!!!

Eh, tip what you want, Dad. Some of us have more generosity than others. And, BTW, I used to be on aspd with another handle that I did not like and made many a review.

Also, does the posted license rule from ASPD apply here to? I looked in the Rules but did not see it.

Alot of guys have changed their handle from ASPD. I'm not sure why. Maybe it makes them feel more safe. For me.....I have a hard time trusting someone I look at as a newbie.

Some are forced to change their handles because for some strange reasons their old handles were taken, and then poof, no activity whatsoever from the imposters.

Well, inquiring minds want to know...

I originally joined aspd and put up what I thought was going to be the name I applied with, like a real name, I thought. So, desiring to remain anonymous, I put in "Sean Jacobs" as an fake application name and figured I could pick my user name or handle later. Duh. Mods would not allow me to change it.

I am the one that NAN was speaking of, the owner was there and I had to fill some Lame form out, with "MY" info on it, lol. I had Kay and she was decent to good. The owner was positioned like outside the door of room near the welcome stand. I am very "passive" during the massage and was unsure about the setup. I decided to play it safe, even though at the end she did a "stretch" that put my head and hands into her boobs. I got the sense that extras may have been offered. I had chances to explore and didnt. I will go back.

I think that it may be more fun when the male white guy (nice guy) owner isnt making appointments and there to direct construction. He is putting some serious coin into this place, showed me around, it's gonna be huge and nice.

I went in Monday and saw Suites 230 and 250. No one was there. Are these two different places or the same? Also, with the money going into this place, I doubt that there would be extras available.

When I walked through the building last week, the upstairs offices (230 and 250, I suppose) were a different establishment (different name on door) from the downstairs Desert in Bloom. All the doors were locked when I was there, so that I didn't see any of the massage girls.
