Selection in four floors ranges from Philippines, Indonesia, China, Thai, Viet, Cambodia. I don't think i've ever met a Singaporean or malaysian in four floors... The bar on the very top floor "Top Ten" i think its called is good. Otherwise another popular one is "Ipanima" decent live band as well. Coming in from Orchard side, up the escalator to the second floor, first bar on the right.

When I was over there earlier this year, I asked about guests at reception and was told that it would cost me the equivalent of 3 nights room charge to being in a "working guest". Must have been unlucky and picked the wrong hotel - can't remember the name, it's the one with Svensson's Ice Cream parlour at the front. Either that or because I booked the room at a counter at the airport and was on a promotion ? :sad:

I remember going to a karaoke pub K Tv in 2005. Damn it was pricey for a "pitcher" of Tiger. about $40 US and it was half the size if the pitchers here in the states. Also the pithers in the states are two times the size compared to Sillypore.

The four floors was reaaly wonderful. Nice selection of so many asians. Ended up with a TG though without any money passing hands. Just bought drinks and food all night which was very expensive. My buddy that lived there said it would be about $100 US if I did pay for a bird there but he could have been wrong since he was a noob to the area as well. Oh and that was the lower end birds prices too. Still loads of fun though.

You cannot compare Singapore and Thailand, totally different economies and countries. I like Singapore, although I dont go there for the P4P scene, unlike you guys. Yes it is expensive, but you have to know that before you land there.

And for those of us that smoke, singapore is getting worse... Apparently by next year or the year after there will be no smoking in bars and nightclubs...Just like some places in the states. Thats when i stop going to singapore...

Buy the book .... No Money No Honey. Good read and explains it all! Last time I was there I went to a karaoke bar and met the "Gangster" boss. In Thailand its mafia and Singapore all Gangsters. They said they had never had a Farang in this bar... classic. But all for chinese and 100% stunning chinese girls. Didn't go with one but the $30 drinks would give you and idea of how much I guess.

yeah, but honestly, you would do better in thailand itself - more variety although not necessarily better prices. the price in singapore is not expensive, ranges from S$80-200, depending on supply and demand.

Ipanema is the place these days. The band sucks, but it packs in the gals. Fewer Thai Gals than ever. Vietnamese, Chinese, Thai make up the majority.

The bar above Ipanema has a Thai Band with Dancers. They switch between Thai and Western songs and are a lot of fun, although too few customers leaves it feeling a bit quiet.

Philipine bars on the bottom floor seem good, but get quiet early too.



Top Ten is now Top Five... and word is it's a BOMB. Don't waste your time.

The Bar at the top of the stairs that was once only LadyBoys is now going heavy into new girls. Indonesean and Philipine, with Freelancers free to come and go.





The Vietnamese started taking lower prices. This has forced all the girls to accept lower prices all around.

I've heard that you can get a 2 for 1 easier than you can bargain a lowlow rate.

Beware the common trick of the girl adding on taxi fare in the morning, adding 20-50 bucks to the tab. Include taxis fare, or the lack of it in your bidding.



Yes, the Conrad is a go. But they've jumped their prices sky high lately, Add in the jump in taxi rates and you'll get better value at a hotel closer to Orchard.
