It's killing the porn industry. The porn studios are not making as much profits as they use to and there are so many pornstars looking get work with as many porn studios as they can. You'll see so many pornstars turning to escorting to add to their income. "Who's That Girl" is bringing pornstars to Toronto for us to sample.

Times change and revenue streams change. I think that with all the free sites, porn producers will just have to find new ways to make money.

I say advertising through product placement is the way to go.

If you ask me... the porn industry helped bring about their own demise.

Its no secret that porn on the internet is rampant... and they themselves fueled this rampage in getting their product to the consumer. Years ago you had to buy print media or videos or go to the seedy porn theaters. Then along came the internet... they went NUTS making product readily available, and I dare say may be somewhat responsible for the exponential growth rate of the internet in general. They also got extremely wealthy in the process! No longer did us horn dogs have to go out to get their product...

But with all things when one tries to get too greedy, things tend to back fire... Until recently porn DVD's were still priced well above their regular "Hollywood" type movies... in spite of MUCH lower production costs... and people just said no way...

You can't have your cake and eat it too... :shock:
