Noticed that the contributions of reviews have slowed to a dull thud lately. I’m curious if this is the result of used benefits and your waiting for the new year for a recharge, or have we just talked in length about all these places?
I joined you fine gentlemen in February so I haven’t gone through the end of year drought. (If that’s what this is) I’m hoping it’s the later and the reviews will ramp up again come January cuz believe it or not, I enjoy the bullshit you guys pedal on here.

Perfect opportunity for somebody to take advantage and offer a "End of Benefits" sale or discount or promotion. The only 'benefits' I've got now come out of my own pocket. My old employer sure had a sweet benefits plan!

I know for me it has been an expensive 2nd half of the year due to unexpected costs/bills, helping family out etc.
My benefits also don't cover 100% so I am paying the difference plus tip of ($60+ per visit) so an easy $80+ per visit.
Times that by twice a month that's almost $2k per year and this does not include my actual legit RMT or when I visit girls like Aniah or an AMP.
In this economy the hobby is becoming too expensive for me to try out new girls plus I have better things I can spend my money on so now I stick to the ones I know who provide great service. I wouldn't be surprised if many guys just stick to their favorites.
If the rates for extras start going down I may get adventuress again but I am tired of wasting cash on subpar
I noticed a lot of the guys on here when they review its usually a regular girl so I don't think I am the only one.

I find that once I find a regular that serves my needs I tend to stick with them, at that point I usually don't review them any further as it seems pointless. When I venture out and try someone new or TOFTT I will right an initial review and possibly a follow up if it is a repeat.
I also have found that at my age I am now looking for an actual quality massage with the HE (when offered) being a bonus. Compare this to when I started in this hobby so many decades ago when I was mostly concerned about the HE and the massage was simply a way to get to the ending. Back in the day I would never have imagined myself say such a thing.... go figure.

So that in a nutshell is why my reviews have slowed down

I have found that things are slower for the girls as I now only do walk ins and have not once been turned away. I have also slowed down on visits and reviews due to watching my expenses and the fact not much new to write about. Same old, same old.

So my rmt calls have basically been set aside until further notice.

I think the NDP ( Provincial) and Liberal ( Federal) economic policies has finally caught up to Edmonton with lack of spending cash. Calgary is worse.

Being a kept man, the places I hit require me to be getting a receipt to “balance the books” in the partners eyes, so I had to pass on the French connection. (May have to start squirling away some funds every month to afford that splurge.)
Still have some room in the health plan so I plan on hitting a few more “new” places in December. I also hope to provide all you twerps with the Rooks perspective on a couple of girls.

Yes I find now that I visit my legit RMT much more than any HE places just because I am then guaranteed a great massage, I'm not sure when a great massage became the focus

I’ve been lucky enough to find a legit RMT that fixes all the ailments with the perfect mix of location, amenities, availability, young, cute, and fun to talk to.
Leaving the fun for less experienced places with less scruples and more to offer. When I go do fun I don’t ask for a deep or even medium massage. Using words like “relaxing”, “teasing”, “sexy”, “erotic” have given the best bang for buck at the spas and parlours.
After my few years in this game I’ve found that the Asian spa scene is just too high volume to consistently get a good therapeutic massage.
Separating the two has given me the best results. However, true to the post title, I generally run out of benefits in August!
Oh and to the NDP and Liberal haters; if it was up to the PC’s the Body Rub, AMP’s, and evening our semi-legit spas would be shut down, sent underground, or ladies walking the streets again. Don’t jump on that band wagon too fast, the holier-than-thou “Tambourine Bashers” would love nothing more than to see the legit and semi-legit sex trade out of the public eye for good. Case and point; Craigslist!

Shame really.
On one hand I wish the price was a bit lower to follow the relaxed economy in Alberta. This would also allow for more visits to be covered by insurance.
On the other, having to manhandle my old carcass is deserving of adequate compensation.
I speak on the side of “fun massage” more than therapeutic.

Possibly true, but what is also likely is our current provincial debt levels would not be where they currently are and we might also have a more business friendly province for companies looking to invest.

I've limited my contributions to this site because my experience is that people will tend to protect certain girls and provide reviews to deter people from visiting them... a selfish move.

If you look at my post history you will find candid reviews. I initially found this site after spending a lot of money and solo TOFTT. Of course ymmv, but there are lots of reviews protecting RMTs who protect extras.

So I've been inactive from the boards for these reasons :

-already have a rotation of 2 RMTs that provide extras
-not a lot of value from the boards anymore.

A few points.
I keep my receipt type massages very separate from my playful type massages, even if the play side may involve a RMT status masseuse. Also, for the fun side, I've always used a burner phone, chucked every couple of years.

Also my board participation is reduced as I prefer to share by PM only with a very few selective members who don't blabber too much.

I've also had ppl who send messages asking questions about a provider that they have developed a fixation on, and I do not respond to these messages, ever.

I think this hobby has shareable information value, but only if the masseuse wants that advertising. Otherwise it becomes a free for all and good offerings disappear because it scares the masseuses when everyone walks in looking for this and that. I still prefer some spontaneity and the YMMV angle.

Lastly, I agree with Derek, that some bad reviews are posted for the wrong reasons.

On the other hand, the greatest value from a board like this is from the genuine bad reviews that are deserved. It helps us from rewarding bad providers, and saves us time and money.

As for Calgary, there are several places now that offer massages at $65, $70 per hour, even as low as $60. Some legit, some with extras/tips. By and large the 80/hr places are some of the worst where they don't want to give a massage. It's like an entry fee that does not even guarantee a one hour timeframe. Mostly Asian crooks operating these joints.

I work in the Oil and Gas Sector. IT REALLY sucks
my last full pay check was Nov 8 2018
So now my limited money goes to fun only.
As per Albertaman some offer massages at $65 . I know a few but the massages are generally poor. they are not RMT's
