New girl Alice at Joyful

JO is getting to be addictive, thanks to Maggie, but when I arrived last Sunday evening, it was new girl Alice in the hallway.

Another in the same age range as Maggie, although maybe a bit younger. She has quite short hair, tinted a bit brown, I think but low light conditions didn't help my eyesight. She was not top heavy, like Maggie (sigh . . .). None of my gentle questions about Maggie's status seemed to penetrate or be understood. Then I thought, let's TOFFT . . .

I think she's the one who started Saturday, as noted by the host I met there the week before. What does a big handshake and smile from the host mean? Duhhhh ;-)

I really needed some muscular manipulation as I spent two days on a variety of motorcycles as a season opener. Ouch!

"How you like hard or soft?"

"Hard" came my answer. Soft, came my experience.

Alice worked on my back and torso in a not very convincing pattern. When she worked on my shoulders, it was better. But she needs to develop some strength and some knowledge of massage. She was keen though and I think in a few more weeks she may get better.

She did follow a JO pattern: massage, feathery finger treatment, flip and question about what I would like next. I stuck to my usual choice for advanced massage. The finish, after 45 mins/$60/plus tip worked out fine.

Next time, I'll book ahead and insist on my own choice.

He eyes your money.

JF is good value for the money but I'm reducing my visits as bossman is a &#$#@.

The last round of girls all left because he's controlling & constant yell at them. Girls are barred from reading, listen to music, tv or rest in the waiting room.

If it's not for the money & lack of language skill, the current batch MPA would be long gone. Let the girls know there are better working conditions.

Thanks for your comments, GT. I'm only just learning the layout of the MP land in the GTA. I would have little to tell the girls. A couple of weeks ago, Maggie told me she works from 10 am to 2 am seven days a week. The "host" told me he's open till 5 am. So I began to imagine he held a stranglehold on the girls' work skeds. IOW, every waking hour. That's started to bother me big time.

I thought that tall thin asian girl ran Joyfull... forget her name now.. michell maybe?? its been awhile, but never saw turnaround like explained here or a man boss back in the day... whats going on with these places..geez....

Bossman own JF for while now. If girls leave, he just recruit others. Girls work long hours to repay debt of coming to Canada or sent money home.

If girls willing for mileage, they make much more at other MP doing fewer hours.

Think Kena & Reya working together, not sure if it's their own biz. Not sure location thou.

I went there tonight, there is no any girl Name Alice.....and Maggie said she worked there for couple months and never heard "Alice"

The new girl didn't know Maggie's name either. They might only know each other by their Chinese names. I know the MPA who looked after me is brand new, only started Saturday, she told me and it jibes with what the host told me the weekend before. She, of course, speaks very little English so I may have misinterpreted her name. I hope to check soon.

Rumour has it that Reya and Jennifer started their own joint in the Yonge/Finch area. I have not been able to locate this "new" spa.

Reya & others got into arguments with Bossman, girls left abruptly.

Bossman bar current girls from talking in the waiting room or keep in touch with previous roster. So no one knew for sure Reya & Kena's 411.
