Start by only going to the ones that says "No blacks" or "No Indians/browns" etc, those ones are the girls who are picky about not getting robbed or raped so they are more likely to be legit.

It's hard to find a good deal on LeoList these days. You see fake photos 8 times out of 10!
All the fat chicks use the "BBW" tag - and they tend to be morbidly obese & wildly unattractive (not to mention a fee of $150 for half-hour - which is ridiculous).
The "Latinas" are literally the worst. They advertise services by asking $80 or $100 for half-hour, and then when you show up and hand over the money, they don't do their jobs and literally get you to finish on your own. You may see different ads & phone numbers, but when they reveal the address (example: 500 Wilson Ave, Unit 701), you find out that it's the same damn apartment or condo - which literally tells you that there is definitely a pimp or some human trafficking involved. Stay away from those (especially the ugly Mexican ones - holy shit)!
As for bait-and-switch, unfortunately the Asians do it most often (if we're talking about escorts who are not MPAs working at spas - although spas post fake photos too - but at least they will offer a decent massage). It would be one hell of a miracle if you found a Chinese provider posting her REAL photos on LeoList! Sometimes, they will even use the "CBC" label (i.e. Canadian-born Chinese) to get past the stigma.
As for white escorts, any pretty girl posting for less than $300/hour and servicing at some ghetto location has something up her sleeve. it costs over $2000 a month to post on Leos List. Why are they going to assault some guy for his pocket change. I guess if it is an organized fake ad but there would be many tells and rare and unlikely. Also check other review boards like sp411 and terb. Search based on name and the last 4 digits of the phone number. Most reviewers do put this information so if they have been reviewed this does increase the credibility of the ad. There ARE some fake reviews out there so you might want to verify the veracity of the review itself.

Personally, I haven't used Leolist for quite some time now given that the quality of these incalls have gone down since the pandemic. Even worse, a couple of my regular incalls have quit the biz, leaving me with no regulars. Since then, I've been attending MPAs.
