Off late I have been getting contacts from fellow mongers who in turn have got that from hyper local dating apps like Bumble, HAPPN, etc. I am intrigued by HAPPN because I had used that in the past and I have a professional account on Bumble so didn't want to mess around with that.

What I am going to share is sort of my playbook on using HAPPN to find “possible” matches and without having to premium version -
1) Being very clear in your BIO about what you are seeking, for example - mine is very clearly stating that I am looking for paid encounters
2) Looking for matching expectations
3) Looking for accounts which have Instagram IDs are listed and this is where you get the opportunity to connect without having to pay for messaging via the application
4) Reaching out to the Instagram IDs and using a verbage like “we crossed paths and noticed that I could drop you a hello on Instagram”

I am sharing this playbook because I have had good success and am chatting with 6 ladies whom I got connected to via this method. Haven't shared mobile numbers yet as that comes across as desperate but that is going to be my next step after completing a few weeks on Instagram.

I think the young lads here stand a higher chance and I can say for sure that the method is validated.

This reminds me of the time I was heavily on WeChat & HIKE which has led to most of my unpaid encounters. Sure this is time consuming but the young lads should give it a try.

If you don't want to be limited by location, then use applications like FakeGPS and it works fine with the application allowing you to change location.
