The government spends beyond yearly increases in production by the private sector economy. The only way they can do this is by increasing the amount of currency that is cirulating in the economy from one year to the next. When you have a larger increase in curency than the increase in production, you have inflation. Then, everyone, from bakers, to car dealers, to home builders to prostitutes feels the hurt of increased prices and cost of living. So, they all raise their prices in an attempt to not lose their purchasing power.

The next time the government says they will fund new programs and thus run massive deficits, realize that inflation will take hold and you will pay more for everything you buy. The government doesn't create wealth. They simply siphon it off from productive people and give it to non-productive people in exchange for their vote.

A higher price does not necessarily mean better quality. A lower price could be better value.

And so she will lose money in leaps and bounds. With a married man's wife, she knows he can't do anything about her devilish ways, or she will take everyhing he owns.

A married man reaches the point in his relationship with is wife where he realizes that she deserves to be beaten into a coma and set on fire. Wow, just read through this thread. It reminds me why I haven't been posting, or even reading as much.

Ana Maria is one of the classier ladies around. She's a great public member of the board. She's amazing in private conversations, and when you get her in a room she's super-amazing, and worth every penny you could give her.
