Why do you think infectious agent labroatory managers require their workers to wear full protective gear similar to what an astronaut would wear?

If a simple Walmart or Home Depot mask was all that was needed, then such strenuous protocols wouldn't be required.

And even when the lab workers go full out with the protective gear, they often still get infected.
