TJ can be dangerous..thats a given. But so are the inner cities of the USA. Hanging out in Compton late at night ain't no picnic...nor would I want to spend much time in a locals bar at 2am in Gary ,Indiana.

In TJ, the best way to avoid trouble is to follow a few basic rules. Don't drive your own vehicle over the border. (take a cab). Don't carry any type of drugs, and don't act like a drunk fool in public. Lets be serious..if you pissed on a street corner in downtown San Diego, you would be hassled by the cops too.

Having said that, the biggest concern you should have when visiting TJ isn't the worry over getting shot. Instead you should be far more worried about catching a deadly disease...

Play..but play safe...

I thought you guys have been already warned by Banker. Com'on guys, let the bygone be bygone. Let's focus on the stuff in TJ. By the way, there seems to be a pickup in police activity lately. I've been stopped two weeks in a row while driving back to the border. Shit, I just can't seem to shake these assholes off my back.

hey, fellas, can't we all just get along. This type of behavior doesn't help anyone. I don't see the need for personal insults- if you don't see eye-to-eye then so be it. I think both of you have made some good posts in the past. People have to make up their own minds who to believe. arguing will not change that. I hate to see this b.s. on our forum. But what is not questionable is BiggDogg's experience in Tijuana. Biggdogg is a grown man, yet he likes to still play 'COWBOYS and INDIANS' and gets OFF telling you about the drug cartels, and killings in some cases thousands of miles away from Tijuana.[ the story about 5 heads in a club, didn't happen anywhere near TJ)

Yes Tijuana can be a dangerous city, but I'm sorry you just aren't going to see drug dealers in gun battles against the Federal Police in the streets of TJ, maybe you might witness a fight between two drunk gringos, or Mexican guys, but that's about it. Enjoy your stay in Tijuana.

You know I think next time Biggdogg brings up my name, which BTW Fireballs is the only name I use here. I think I'm going to take a POLL on how many people actually believe Biggdogg was ever really an ARMY RANGER, I'm even willing to put money on it, that he wasn't, but I guess I'll save the details to the next time Biggdogg brings up my name in a negative way- some guys just never LEARN.

One of my friend heard there are some gun fights goin in TJ for last few days or so, and there is some advisory for tourists from US to go to TJ. Is that true?
