A BG works at a bar and gets a salary for just being there, plus they get a kickback when someone orders a lady drink plus they get a share if they are bar fined. They must be frequently tested for AIDS and the bar owner cannot employ them if they test positive. They have to work all agreed on days and if they do not show up for a particular day they get fined.

A FL cruises the streets, discos, clubs or bars to get work, is not necessarily tested.

I don't think 1000BHT is the going rate. It might be for some but not for all. Some of my BG friends be telling me, how they easily get 3000BHT for ST from customers from either Japan or Hong Kong. How do you compete with that? Well you can't.
The way I see it, when I dine and wine a lady the end result is usually me getting some Helping or exploiting a lady, is not in the equation. So the opposite sex who also come to LOS for p4p are they exploiting the guys, I don't think so.

If my employer agreed a fee lets say 300 baht or 3000 baht I would be righteously pissed of if he didnt pay up. Anyone who doesnt pay the agreed rate deserverves the consequences.
