Prostitution per se is not against the law in CR, but pimping definitely is, i.e. you will not find a lot of escort type agencies being publicly promoted.

I used G&G on my trip last September. The following occurences are mine and so I will add a caveat that YMMV. Overall Johanna who runs the agency is polite, organized and speaks English well. She set up an all-nighter for me with a girl that was my 2nd pick but has been one of the best experiences of mine in Costa Rica. The cost was $200. This included her meeting me at the Prez at 7 pm and leaving at 10 am the next morning. This young lady was well dressed (not casual like most BM girls). She also carried herself with class and was very respectful of me. I think she may be an exception as I can't imagine other G&G girls to be like her but she is the only one I tried. The details are in my trip report from that period if anyone is interested. Basically I would highly recommend this agency. Yes $200 is on the steep side but in my opinion, it beats the negoiation bullshit of the BM. I know what I am getting and to what time - no pay up front crap and this lady was just that - A LADY. She didn't even want to set foot in the BM which means that unlike most BM girls - I was her ONLY date of the evening.

I know G-man used the same agency and he has tried many of their girls. He deserves credit for referring the agency to me and the chica with whom I had the date. I know G-man will confirm my accounts that the girl I had was exceptional, but once again YMMV.

Guys....not to bust balls, but I have never paid $200 for a todo la noche. Would never do it. I have paid as little as $60....but the most is $125.

Of course, on my last trip I got 5 todo la noches from Cristal, and I still don't know how much I paid her since I paid her a lump sum on my last day. But it would not have averaged more than $100 for each TLN.
