I have lived the FB lifestyle for many years and i can say that the novelty almost always wears off over time if you dip in the well to often, some you can play with monthly, some every six months but not much more often than that to keep it hot. As for a gift for a FB occasion, acknowledging the event is OK but stay away from anything permanent (i.e. a picture). I suggest something special sexually that he would like that way he feels special and there is no lasting evidence (well accept the rope burns or spank marks) for him to pine over. Most all FB turn into relationships at some point whether you want them to or not ... Good Luck!
