Eczema and ihm exam

Hi everybody

I'm doing my practical ihm exam on Friday week and i would need your advices on a little issue i've got please.

My friend (who's gonna be my body) has his hands covered with ezcema. He had that for the last few months but it's clearing with a homeopathic treatment he's following (and hands are not an issue as i'm not approaching them).
But what's happening now is that the top of his shoulder is getting very dry and his scapula is getting little red marks of ezcema too. It's not bleeding or anything.

So do you think it's ok for me to use him as a body (knowing ezcema is not a contraindication for ihm) i should i play it safe and get somebody else (which is not gonna be easy)?

So long as your friend is happy to be your body for your exam go for it. In my eye's I believe it would look good on you going through the contraindications at the beginning of the exam and explaining that you can do the Indian head massage. Although I would perhaps avoid the area's that may be of a worry to you and your friend. If you are worried about using your friend could you have a word with your teacher and they advise you or may be find another body for you, another student say.
I just love giving Indian head massages and can't wait to take my exam which unfortunately won't be for a while due to other commitments.

I've decided to use somebody else. My friends's eczema is getting worse and he's not comfortable about having the massage with people around (which is understandable).
But it's ok 'cause i've found somebody else )

Have to study now, written exam is tonight.

Think you have done the right thing, nothing worst than being worried about your 'body' when your'e doing an exam, your not fully focused.

Well done Kalineka on doing your exam and I know that you have done it ok.

I know that you say you did a couple of errors but I'm sure that the examiner will allow for nerve's

Yeahhhhh

Got 72 on my theory (could have done better) but what i'm really happy about is that i got 92 on practical
So real happy bunny

Looking forward to do the next course now. Getting there little by little and soon enough bye bye old job and big Hi to new one

Well done I knew you would do it

Finally I've re started my case study's on Indian head massage and got to get them finished by the end of April. Then if I've done my essay I can do the exam, now I've booked it I know that there's no putting it off.
