I have been to NL a lot, went every two weeks or more for 8 years, job related...but I know nothing about downtown past a few bars, restaurants, and hotels, Turf Club, and Mercado. I would appreciate the guy who knows the downtown scene to show me the ropes, and I'll bet I can show you a whole undernet at boy's town that you never knew existed...and may not want to, come to think of it. No, I'm not talking about trannies...I will confess that the stuff that I posted on that other thread was made up for my own amusement...sorry.

I will post or email as the date draws nearer and if I am sure I can do it.

Yeah, let's keep our fingers crossed that everything will be ready to rock n roll on the 26th! Knowing that there are probably many people that do not post, but come here looking for information, I want to add a few additional comments regarding "semipro action downtown."

As I mentioned, the girls seem to arrive in groups ranging from 3, 6 to 9-PM. I have tried and still find it impossible to fully predict what nights or times will be great. Obviously, weekends and after 9-PM should be a good starting point. I have been in the downtown bars during the middle of the day on a weekend and counted maybe 20+ babes I would do in a heartbeat. On some weekdays late afternoon, you might think you walked into a weight watcher's meeting. I have seen 9's and 10's late Sunday and Monday evenings. Other nights, the same group of hotties may be no where in sight. I would think "rent money time" would be hot, but that was not the case the first weekend of this month.

I previously reported average pricing as around US$ 40 to 50. Last weekend I was quoted US$ 20 for "I do everything" by a gal in her late 20's who was probably a 6 or maybe a 7. So, do bargain when appropriate. The main clubs I hit are Herradura, Montero and the bar that starts with a "J" between the 2. El Rey does not seem to have been happening any of the last times I checked in recently. There are a few others in the area and I will report back before the 26th with a more comprehensive list. There are several bars on side streets that run north-south off the main drag that have trannies, so watch out for that. The regular bars do NOT have any trannies.

Anyway, like I said, can be great or can be a miss. Just don't shoot the messenger . If anyone wants to stay downtown, there are plenty of decent hotels within a few blocks of the clubs. Best to arrive in daylight so you can have a look around and make your selection.

I'm a little concerned about the violence, but I've been to bordertowns throught Texas, Arizona and California. They are all dangerous if you are not careful. There was some confusion awhile back in this thread concerning Doubt98's post when he referred to a bridge. Someone asked if this was bridge #2. No, he's referring to bridge #1. Pedestrians are allowed to cross on bridge #1, but not bridge #2. All this talk about the plazas near the bridge, the pussy action in downtown NL, etc., involve bridge #1, not bridge #2.
How safe is it in NL? I moved to Laredo in January, and I can't really answer that question. I've heard about the kidnappings in NL, but rather or not most of them are drug related, or kidnapping American tourist, and demanding ransoms, I don't know. A lot of the shootings are related to the turf wars between the drug cartels, and the battles between the drug cartels, and police, and police corruption with the drug cartels, etc. Whether or not it's safe for a gringo to go walking around downtown NL, looking for pussy in the various bars, I don't know. If you're by yourself, boystown might be safer. It's hard to get clear information, on these kidnappings, and shootings. Alot of the reports are speculations. Like Americans being kidnapped. No one wants to admit that their relative was over there to buy drugs, if that was the case. But if you're kidnapped, people will speculate that you were over there to buy drugs, even if that wasn't the case. So how safe is it? I don't know, and I live in Laredo.
And to LBFM Luver, uh yeah, if you'd ever like me to buy you a beer, let me know. I would like to know more about the babe that does anal, and the one that swallows. I live close to the corner of Grant, and Juarez. (About 4 blocks from bridge #1). I just moved to this location, a couple of days ago. Before, I was at Washington, and Juarez.
