Asian Spa - Not sure what to expect

I thought my first time would have been at SRM or some similar agency but you know what they say about best laid plans.

Since I've never been to an MP before I have no basis of comparison and my reading of the forums hasn't helped. I believe I would know what to expect at one of the larger agencies but not from smaller Asian places.

I've been to this Asian massage place a couple of times. They had signage on one of the main streets advertising $60 massage. That plus the fact that all I ever got was a massage made me think the place was legit.

On my third visit, just before the flip, she reached under and cupped my balls and asked if I wanted this. Since I'd never been offered this before I was taken a bit by surprise. Her English wasn't the greatest but she asked for $40. I literally only had $20 and told her so. She agreed to proceed anyway. She was fully clothed and it was a bit mechanical.

The shower is in a different room, so once I finished I came back to pay her and she wasn't around. I went up front to pay the $60 and the woman there said she would give her the tip.

So my questions for those who have experience at these places: (I know I'm asking for generalizations)

Was this an anomaly or is that the way they work?
Are the women usually naked? Will they get that way if I ask/pay for it?
Do I have to ask for this extra service or do they normally offer it? Maybe they figured I'd done this before and knew the ropes

I appreciate the feedback and any other suggestions. I still hope to have a proper introduction at one of the bigger places.

At most places you pay your door fee up front.

The answer to the balance of your questions is, it depends on where you go. There are lots of reviews of Asian spas with different levels of services here. Do some research.

Perhaps because there are more asian massage places. and massage is a more established cultural practice (w/ and w/o happy ending) asian spa afficionados seem to report more variation in the routine. 'Western' MPs with names like Allure make it reasonably clear they've got one simple protocol. The asian MPAs also seem to have a higher suspicion level about LE and entrapment, perhaps being less accustomed to reading non-asian body-language and intonations. There are common misapprehensions that cops will not get naked, and cannot actually ask for specific illegal acts or direct an MPA to them because it would be entrapment. And given the reluctance of authorities to hand out Body Rub Licences, many, if not most parlours are operating outside their licences if any. Therfore a great many Cautious Cathys will wait for you to ask explicitly.

So it's not surprising she waited until a repeat visit or two reassured her you were a legit pooner; more commonly we hear of guys pointing at 'a spot you missed', after she asks, "Is there anywhere else I should masssage?". If she doesn't ask, the question's still open; nothing wrong with you raising it—so to speak. If she does ask, then your question becomes what feminine ornamention—or absence thereof—should accompany the happy ending. Some asian MPAs regard nudity as beyond possibility, even though a focussed massage of a bit more stiffened man meat is OK. My simple-minded approach is to start the session with polite inquiries about "…could there please be fewer clothes", and that seems to advance matters usefully. Or not; whatever the answer, it's not worth the aggro of arguing. Sometimes I'll give her that second opportunity and sometimes it's been worth it, but mostly I move on.

But as in all things: YMMV, and all answers are between the lines.
