Alright I'm posting in the hopes this helps someone - I dated an agency girl who sold me on the idea that she was just doing it to pay for school, we met during a session. She quit when she graduated and we went full into a relationship, I love you's aplenty, constant planning/about the future, we even met each other families. It was amazing for the first year... Admittedly I turned a blind eye to 100s of red flags, I was so naive. Little did I know she kept in touch with other clients, met sugar daddies and who knows what else in the relationship. The thing is, normal tradiontal girls don't do this type of work. These women, not all, crave attention among many other vices, they are not marriage material. In the end I dont regret dating them but I regret getting emotionally involved. Most of these girls have a horrible view on men and relationships. I'm my opinion, you can date em, but don't ever say you love em, it'll only lead to heartbreak.

Sounds like she wanted a babysitter. On one hand, it’s admirable what she tried to do for her kids. On the other hand, that’s pretty fucked up asking you for that but not offering a serious relationship in return. I think it also harms the kids if every dude she brings into her life gets close to them and then leaves…messes them up and could give them a bad impression.

I would’ve done the same in your shoes though.

I like his story - the MPA is the scorpion. I thought that she was an exception - but it turned out it was a mistake and a hurting feeling for emotionally connected with her. She claimed that she is truthful in each of her relationship which unfortunately she has more one at the same time.

This mirrors my experience somewhat in that I dated a girl I met at a massage parlour. Purely thought of her as a a sex object at first. I was obsessed. I've never tried or have been addicted to heroin but I imagine it's somewhat how I was with her. Being with her away from the spa at my place or her's and having sex and other fun stuff was an unbelievable experience. Almost like a peak behind the curtains of what their life is really like. And she had other industry friends always around. It was crazy. But I too started to see her as more than just a sex object but as a person who I was in love with and cared about. That all ran its course but I still remain very close to her but don't really see her much anymore aside from the occasional time to make sure she's doing okay.

If she can barely speak english and you do not have any grasp of their language you are operating at a deficit. To them you will always be an outsider. Add the sexwork component and that subculture， longterm relationships is a goal few attain. There is a large number of ＂spa ladies＂ with boyfriends and some with husbands and families. So yes it happens but not all of those relationships are good.

probably it all depends on your expectaton.

I serously doubt any ex-MPA industry girl is ever going to be a quiet fathful housewife but if you are knowingly dating one, thats probably not what you want either.

If possible other partner are within both of your comfort levels, she may not mind you contnuing to see otehr MPAs. If that is not comfortable for either of you, maybe not a great idea.

Just to add - I think a lot of guys would fall into the trap, I know I did:

You basically convince yourself that you can save her, that she even needs your help in the first place and that if you focus all your energy you could make it work. So you go heavy in the beginning of the relationship, you spend all your time, you spend money, focus just to push the illusion along. You ignore red flags but you think to yourself, men would kill to be with her. But can you sustain that forever? What happens when the illusion wear's off on both sides? You might be devastated considering everything you out in... In the meantime she unfortunately kept in touch with old clients, SDs, IG DMs from celebs, and is ready to move on instantly.

Lastly, the person you're meeting is not them, just like you put you're best behaviour in regular relationships in the beginning. That shit wears off and you might find out exactly why this gorgeous women is single and in the SW industry. Again traditional women do not do this to pay through school...

I believe it can work under very specific circumstances. I’ll be the first to admit it’s going to be hard and higher than normal chance of failing and even with regular relationships, there’s already a pretty high rate.

You're right that any major cultural divide can be a challenge and adding in a language barrier just brings it to a new level.
The real question is the jealousy thing. What is the correct response when you run your hand through her hair and there's some crusty shit that she can't explain. That is a new element to add to the relationship that most normal guys would not be able to accept...at least for not long.
MPAs have their lives and I do mine. Have fun in the session and that's where it ends.

Of course the chances of dating an industry girl and it lasting are slim but if you have the chance why not. Didn't workout in the end for me in that we didn't ended up together but the whole experience was one I don't regret and am glad it happened.
