Well. I don't know if I should admit to this or not but what the hell.

Went to Anida Massage on the weekend expecting what people had mentioned here. Ended up paying 140 at the door for 60minutes. Went in, got on the table. Massage. 45-50 minutes later, were done and she walks out the door.

I paid 140 dollars for a 45-50minute massage. WTF? I would have figured at that price more was included. No guy in his right mind would pay 140 for a 45minute massage. Sorry. Not topless. NOTHING.

I'm sorry... Did I look like a cop or something?

Anyways. Needless to say I won't be going back. And I don't think anyone else should either. Gez.

Sorry, I just realized I said something that would be confusing to others here. My weekend (not sat/sun). Tuesday afternoon. Trying to remember exact times and think it was around 4:30pm. When not at work, time and dates blur together.

I ended up seeing an older larger woman. Not sure what her name was. Big into 'reading' where my body hurt/etc. Alignment with these triangle blocks on my hip. I unfortunately do not remember her name. I can provide details about the session if people don't believe me that I was there. For example, she left the room in the middle of a massage when the main door chimed saying `No one should be coming in` when a different woman was leaving the place. Of the women on the website, the only one it could have been would be “Marnie”. Looks close to who I saw. Definitely not the other three.

As far as my other reviews, I normally only review when things go really well or really poorly. Actually, I think I have only ever given one negative comment and that was with respect to not being called on the phone when the guy handling the booking said he would. I don’t think this would make me the type of member who slanders people for no reason. (As with everything people have the right to make up their own minds/etc. Be it a grain of salt or otherwise) Perhaps I should start being a more active member so people don't need to take what I say with as large of a grain of salt. I quite enjoy the hobby.

Anyways. I stand by my comments.

As far as the rates for "Just a massage". Then perhaps my expectations are completely out of line. I walked out of there thinking for 60-110 more, I could have had a great time with a few of the touring ladies. Or for close to the same price a micro visit.

For therapeutic massages, it’s less than half at 65/hr. I almost turned away when I heard 140 at the door as I was expecting a standard room/massage rate with services paid for in the room. Like every other massage parlour I’ve ever been to. I gotta learn to start listening to the little voice in my head saying to turn away.

Or make sure to book appointments with well reviewed ladies. Jasmine is the one who caught my eye but did not see anyone else there.

And you know. The sad part is that I probably would have paid more if there had been a hint of more being available! (Cash burning a hole in my pocket when looking for something is never a good thing) I must have given off the wrong vibe or something. I have NEVER been to a parlour and not even had a hint of more from the attendant.

Time to stop ranting. I'll answer any questions anyone has but other than that I'm going to drop it. I miss Edmonton. Although Carrie's has never let me down either. Bah

You have to make it clear that you're looking for a full body, rather than a therapudic massage.

I do know the rates went up in February, 'cause guys were tipping badly ... even then, the one hour full body was more than $140 ... and is very nice

Your first impression may be right ... maybe you gave off a bad vibe.

I have never ever had an issue with service there, and have always left very satified ... a couple of times, doubly so

I pay my therapeutic girl 90 / hr and she comes to me. Very good but no "happy ending" and that is ok.

I guess I'm a little confused. Let me say I haven't been to your establishment yet, but I plan to.

So for a $130/hr full body massage, you need further communication from me to make it a *full* body massage? Is the *full* body massage inclusive in that hourly rate? Because seriously, i can get a therapeutic full hour for $65 at my regular place. Thanks in advance. Please feel free to PM me the answer if you're more comfortable with that.

So if 60 is strictly therapeutic 140 or whatever op paid should have been for more right? He might not have been specific as to what services he gets but for 140/hr any pooner or sp should know they're after more than a massage. Your replies are contradicting because at the beginning you're saying the price he paid was purely for just the massage and your last reply stated therapeutic only was 60. I'd be choked finding out I paid 140 for a 45 minute massage

Sounds like Paradigum got ripped off to me, I would be pissed off too!! You say your full body massage is $1.3 and he was charged $1.4 and only got less than an hour rub. I don`t see how you can try and justify that. Trav

What I would suggest is that he be invited back, pay the amount for the value of the *original* massage ($60?), but then receive the *services* of what he paid for that original massage ($140).

Then everything should be evened out after that.

I've been to Anida roughly 10 times over the past 4 months and have been very happy with the service I received. Marnie is very nice to deal with, and always makes sure that I'm taken care of when I'm there. I've seen Jasmine, Lynn and Sara and always received what I paid for at the front.

The girls are friendly, the place is clean and I've never felt as if the massage was "mechanical". Also, they were very professional and discreet which is important to me.

It's too bad that your experience was not what you expected. Perhaps make contact with Marnie and express your concern. She's seems to be dedicated to her business so I'm sure she would make things right given the chance.

Anida massage seems to me to be playing the ignorance card as to why they ripped buddy off..... they are more condescending than apologetic. They offer no solutions to the situation and fail to seem to care.... I was planning on visiting but will steer clear of this place, mainly from how they responded.
