well the cab driver name was Tavo and he drove one of the yellow cabs. pretty much me and my friend were going to adelita and the guy told me that he knows girls that he could hook us up for an all nighter of sex for like $200 to $300 dollar full service anything you want in your hotel. pretty much he would bring girls to your room pick one or 2,3 and have fun. you save money rather then calling one of those AB or HK girls for outcalls. just think of it as a sort of escort service. but remeber that those cab drivers probaly get like a commission fee from the pimp or escort owner as mention before be the previous post but i doubt it wouldn't affect you after all the point is getting poon. i would recommend this option to a business traveler that bog down with work and don't have time for R&R. As for me the time i was there was for a weekend and it was for a fucking safari enjoy and if you give it a try give some detail for I might drug my virgin friend and take him south of the border to help him lose his virginity.

Let me add to FB's post that taxi drivers will act idiot and pretend that Adelitas (for example) doesn't exist even if you have the address in hand or they will tell you that Adelitas (again, example) is a rat hole of a place where robbers live and that you will certainly be killed.

Try to forgive the arguing as a few of us specialize in a certain area about TJ, and just love to go into great detail about it and defend our positions. I will have to disagree with you about taxi drivers, although many taxi drivers know there way around the city, and have connection. They are also in cahoots with high end bars and Massage parlors that pay them up to $10 dollars to take you there. So it's usually not in a mongers best interest to listen to Taxi driver, as most of these places they take you to are over priced. It use to get so bad when I use to take a yellow cab, that I use to say Adelitas and no I don't want to go to a massage parlor before they could even ask.

Most escorts don't want their friends and family to know about their profession. Escorts believe if they go near the Zona that they'll be seen by somebody who knows them.

Their fear is justified. Escorts--like their family, friends, and neighbors--use collectivos and the terminis for collectivos in downtown. There is no way a chica can on a regular basis go downtown without bumping into somebody she knows. Somebody who will spot her going to or from the ZN.

I've meet a lot of escorts outside the Zone Norte and never had a problem. I once had a problem when the cops spotted me with a civilian gf near Revo. But when they realized they weren't going to get any money from me they let me go.

The cops can and do play all sorts of games to shakedown gringos. But that doesn't mean what the gringo is doing is illegal--and meeting a girl in public isn't illegal, neither is getting in a taxi with her.

SWs are caught and hauled away the moment they are seen.
Of course there are places where they mingle with civilian females during the daytime, but not in the night time.
This places are not the "bad" part of Monterrey, but the working class downtown area, on the sidewalk of a Soriana supermarket.
At night time I have only seen no more than 10 SWs on the avenue that has the clubs and none of them together, but all spread out on said avenue.

You can take a girl from a club to a hotel, pay her bar fine, her fee and nothing will happen... stuff happens if they catch picking her up in the street.

Thanks Amigomio looks like in Mexico the law is very concerned about sex practices in pubic places, especially cars, and solicitation of sex. I'm still a little confused about Monterrey, since you say they don't have a zone of tolerance like Tijuana, yet they have different classes of bars where prostitution is at least discussed and maybe taken outside to a hotel, if I remember correctly from reading the threads about Monterrey?

In TJ I been noticing the TJ cop cracking down on the 'walkers' in fact a few weeks ago I was interested in this walker, but when I came back to the area, the cops had picked her up in a sweep, and put her in a little pick-up truck that served as a make-shift prison on wheels.

I also have been told that many escorts or rather their agency will refuse to allow an escort to meet you in the zona. I suspect it has something to do with the fear that those escorts would be picked up by the authorities, and of course they don't want to use the sleazy hotels.

I don't think you read my post which agrees with yours as they do this in the whole of Mexico: I got in trouble a couple of years back for picking up a nonpro in the downtown area of Monterrey in broad daylight (Mty has no Zona).
Police stoped me and tried to push on me "faltas a la moral" (moral considerations) being that the girl was not a ho... which of course it didn't stick.
Just told them "take me to the judge"
