Looks like Velvet Curtain (now Black Rose) raised prices. Besides Eden... Any other KMP at the 160/hr rate now? TB mentioned something about KobiotoNY, but I can't find any information about them.

I've been personally involved with a few KMP girls and mamasans. In fact, I picked up the earned house fees from a house to bring to the owner (after sampling of course). Believe me, in good economic times, these gals at a good spot can make $1000 a day (if she can put up with 10 cocks a day).

Things have definitely slowed for many places. And yes, the tougher time have caused more gals to try their hand at operating their own shops. Plus, gals who worked in other cities are coming to NYC because the recession has not hit NYC as hard as other states. There's definitely a glut at the moment.

There is higher pricing but who cares?.. if you're dumb enough to pay it then don't get mad when you get scammed. Hellloo.. you're already being scammed! The only players that don't seem to have gotten the message are the agencies but who in their right mind goes to an agency anymore anyway? Any comments or comparisons? I went to Mr.lights once because it was not very clean, the women were not attractive to me & they were MILFy and they were all the way out in Flushing. I live in Manhattan so when you factor everything in even at 140 it was not worth it to me.

Some guys like the seedy atmosphere, I can imagine that being the case, the hobby is about appealing to the different psychologies and fetishes. That goes for the looks too, I can imagine some guys digging the older women. It is all a matter of taste.

For me it was never about just busting a nut in a no hold's barred situation. For example the BBBJ was not my thing, I prefer to play it safe. For me it was about being with an attractive woman who was pleasing to all of the senses and who carried herself in a pleasing manner too. Then it was about living out fantasies of being with a particular woman who reminded me of a friend's wife or something. I would hold on a week to forgo the cheap nut and treat myself to something nice. But we all know price is not everything, you could pay less and actually have a nicer experience sometimes. So it is way to simple to think everyone thinks alike or wants the same thing. If I had a choice between two places that were clones that were right next to each other and one charged less of course I would go for the cheaper clone but each woman and place is different and that is why we keep in the hobby until we find someone we just want to repeat with again and again for whatever reasons.

I think the $200 price has been around for a long time without adjusting for inflation. Nab made a good point about the Won being down compared to the dollar perhaps allowing these businesses to charge a decade old price today.

But here's my 2 cents without reading the prior 3 pages of posts....I'm not no genius but if you got a place that for argument's sake charging $140 and the next place $200, even if the 200$ spot may be better and in such and such a way, I would personally be more inclined to visit the cheaper place more frequently therefore both sides of the equation would be happy... Mr. Light's AMP was a prime example of cheap rates, excellent service and everyone still returned even if the did complain about the scenery!

hey TB. i tried one of these 160 places the other day and that was my experience...that there's not much communication between mama and the girl. but the girl disappeared for one min and checked with mama and when she came back her attitude was great. no detectable difference between $$ and 160 session.

in fact she was quite good. i usually dont tip if made to pay upfront but i did and she was obviously not expecting it. so it could have been 160 flat for a good session. she even gave me one of those disc cards for $100 off the 7th visit which actually stands a real chance of bringing the final cost to $145...within spitting distance of the average asian-only place...without the need to hike to flushing/brooklyn/ctown...

If they don't clue the girl before hand this is a sure fire way to get off on the wrong foot. It needs to be the store policy and not a shell game. Saving $40 dollars for a lack luster time and the label, "cheap bastard" just isn't worth it to me. I go to have fun not bargain for sex, that just blows. I am not into coerssion in the game, that kind of bargining is cool with shoes but not poontang. If the house has a rule and everyone knows what to expect before hand, I would be delighted with the extra pocket change.

Also looks like VC has shifted it's price up for newbies.

Business is down for sure. Nab good commentary as usual The shit hit the fan. Girls are desperate to make dough. Milf providers have skyrocketed because many came in before the pulse stopped in the US. Places are dropping their prices, but the quality will suffer too. Guys with disposable incomes have carte blanche wherever they go now.
