it seems the k places are back at 200 now in manhattan. BUT everywhere seems to offer a $160 half hour rate.

i was talking with a girl from one of the korean places. she says its 160hh / 200hr but if you go at nighttime when its busy there, they'll push you out as soon as they can, even in 20-30min...and that they all pay the same price. so be aware, if you go at busy times, esp after work and night time, the extra buys you nothing. she seemed to think it was kind of funny too (i.e., chumps).

now the success i have had is when you call and talk to the phone mama during non-busy times. ask who is there then tell her the rate is still ($160, or $180) for the hour right? if she says no its $200...press her and say you got the reduced rate before and if she'll still honor it, or that you get it elsewhere but you'd like to give her place a try. she knows in the afternoon at least the girls will just be cooling their heels on the couch anyway, so i've had good success in having them bite. when you get there give the girl 160 and she will look and you and say 1/2 hr? to which you say no mama said i could get an hour for that. she will have to go out to confirm. be aware that as soon as you get off you're out so if you want to make use of that full hour...you best be up to the challenge. its not like she's gonna sit around with you bs'ing to fill out the time.

now all that being said...its a major pain to go through all that. i do it cause i like to give the girl a tip, and usually at least half if not all the savings comes out of the house's cut. since it is such a hassle, i'll usually just go elsewhere.

china run places you can find some gems. you can even get your korean fix at a lot of them will feature kgirls. but they usually dont last long because kgirls are used to nice clean places with nice surroundings...and the c-places, are often not. and they are usually on a 10-day rotation. and/or they dont like the 'country'-style customers they often get at c-places (migrant and menial labor workers). but rest assured they've seem them all at one point or another.

Us working stiffs on the OTHER hand have to work to make ends meet and with a little extra we have-we can indulge. 1.6 should be the max spent for all languages spoken and all services provided for 1 hour. Lets face it a 5 client day at 1.6 is 8 bills. Thats more than 200k per year. I know there is a risk blaa blaa blaa. Where else can an uneducated and undocumented worker pull down that kinda scratch. The $$+ category had better offer something special in a great location.

Now it seems that the number of Chinese places is increasing beyond the Korean ones. It used to be the other way around. They don't believe in opening fancy establishments here, at least not yet, but I am getting all I want in Manhattan for $100 [total] now

In response to some comments..
1) Why not pay 160 for half instead?
That's not the point. The point is looking for 160 for the HOUR. For half hour, I'd be looking for 120-130.
2) Crappy KMP service
This is true, but they still got the hottest girls. There are hidden gems though and you all know who they are.. I'd rather go for the hotties and look for great service rather than get good service from a 50 year old.
3) Why do you need so much time?

Most KAMPs are full TS but some just offer a shower. Therefore, the TS is not being offered like before. The newer Kgirls are less knowledgeable of a good massage. If you take longer than 15 minutes to pop, you have to do the hour. I don't do the FS AMP thing much because the service is typically SOOO standardized and all too frequently on the lame side.
