Educated people in our country have always been senseless. On name of Ganpati Visarjan, these days people dance on non-bhakti (therefore irrelevant) music, play holi, drink beer, etc. And finally that ends up polluting water.
This isn’t new and specific to any government.
There are many more example.

Do you know Balasaheb & His father's ideology weren't same in many aspects. One common point was their justice to local people.

Sharad Pawar didn’t ditch Balasaheb, he has ditched Congress in 1978 and BJP too later. This is all to be power hungry. He’s known to befriend enemies and compromise to remain in power. Neither he nor UT can be the Tiger.

You have no clue about Maharashtra's history, do you? The Sena has aligned informally with the Congress in the 70s and on some other occasions also. Very much like the BJP did with Farooq Abdullah. So Uddhav Thackeray is betraying nobody. Balasaheb and Pawar have been 'frenemies' for quite some time. Politics requires such holy / unholy alliances at times.

At the centre, you don't have another option. There is no credible alternative.
At state level, I have no plans to vote for them again. They have already plotted and diverted too many businesses and investments out of Maharashtra to Gujarat. I prefer to keep a local party, Shiv Sena or NCP in power here.

Exactly. All those imported candidates who ditched their original parties (like Narayan Rane) were left with their hands itching when UT pulled that fast one on them.

PS: This is not to say that the Congress is any better. They are assholes too. Modi is doing a great job on the geo-strategic front.

Bhai, some party are scoundrels, some do horse trading. Both are wrong. Both want power.
I’ve only admired Balasaheb. He sticks to his ideology and policies. By the time I understood politics, he was gone. So I don’t vote anyone. It’s better than voting Scoundrels.

But hunger for power is one thing and being deshdrohi is another.

I still believe UT’s long term plan is to do goodwill being CM, and then in next election get majority and form government. This is still good, and is better than these 3 continuing over span of multiple elections.
I’d love to see UT as CM again, but with majority. I do believe in Maharashtra he can do better than BJP.

Bhai it’s not media speaking. These are individuals. I would choose to believe the best lawyer of India, ex RAW Officer, especially when they both are claiming the same thing, than believing any random party supporter.

I agree, It’s good to not believe in anything until it’s proved. Likewise it’s good to also not say anything without proof.

In our country, Nirbhaya rapists survive for 7 years. Obviously Sharad pawar would survive lifetime if taken to court without Dawood as witness. That was the only way to nab the involved politicians but we missed it.

Also, Daawood wouldn’t surrender everyday nor would he meet Ram Jethmalani in Dubai every day. These are opportunities and if missed, they are gone.

Every party in our country is surviving based on supporters who blindly support them. Whether they are Bhakts, local bhikari’s who support MNS and disallow outsiders in the state, low class hooligans supporting Dawood’s friends in politics, etc.

We cannot wait for everything to be proven to be able to make a decision who to vote. We need to trust our instincts based on what “credible” information we have. That’s where listening to prominent figures comes into picture than listening to party supporters who chant anything they want.

For my state, my bet is on UT. I want him to do a good job, get majority next time and kick Pawar’s ass and Fadnavis/Modi’s ass and knock them out. And this is what his plan is, as he wanted to be a CM so that he gets visibility and hence majority.

At national level, there are no other choices.

Politicians will team up today and be against same person/party another day. There is nothing new to this.

If you really want to know what A thinks of B, then that is not going to happen until they both come face to face for a debate during elections.
Until then politicians will play dirty and party supporters will chant whatever they want.

Head to head debate is something should happen. That will clear many doubts and help voters decide. Either that or communism. Until then nothing can save our country from destruction.

I think it is time to put up some old FRs that we had missed putting. Rummage through your memories and post FRs on the defining moments of your mongering career. That would be a welcome break from politics.

Choose who to believe - who actually met the criminal (and clear cut is saying something) or someone who you yourself don’t trust.

Balasaheb saved Mumbai during 1993 blasts.
