Found MIT website calculates COVID infection risk… so how about w spa parameters?

So, I input room specs:

• Rm size= 100 sq ft (10x10)… actually most rms more like 7x12, close enuf
• Ventillation = closed window
• no active ventilation, recirculation, filtration
• Humidity… well, left it @ default…

Then human specs:

• Breathing rate: moderate exercize
• Respiration rate: Heavy breathng (obviously)
• Mask type: cotton flannel
• Mask fit: Poor (50%)
• Age grp Adult 15-64) … this may exclude kj, but hes pretty fit he says

… & used Viral strain= Delta, no d’uh…

So when does it get dangerous? 15 min

Two conclusions:

1. If u= nervous re COVID, dont think she’s vx & safe, u≠ vx…. Stay home
2. In small rm, mask which is poorly fitting & cloth= almost useless

…if I change mask effectiveness from 50% to 0%… i.e. no mask… it goes from 15 min to 11 min!

Its like nuthin… mask does not protect in this environment…. So..

MPAs SHOULD ALL DRP THEIR MASKS in the RM! They serve no purpose.

Its science baby! And if yer both vx… risk = very very low…

Great calculation... I'd probably tweak room size to be smaller, and mask fit 0%, which only adds more to the point.

… it was kinda cool, I just put in my best gues, & it said 15 min… totally agree, most rms are about 7x12… like car size… …

Putting mask to 0% means no mask, so u cant do that… but if mask droops, I mean, cmon, thats no better than 50%

Masks ≠ this setting… if yer in intimate contact w another person in enclosed space… its either well fitted KN95 mask… or just dont bother,

She should trust yer dbl vx status… … & thats better than any mask…
