Chat Masking coming off ?

Agreed. I'm taking mine off, but could care less what other people choose to do with their own bodies. As long as they let me take my mask off in peace and don't interfere with that right, I don't care what they do.

"I agree to disagree" is such a simple mantra to live by. It's amazing how many people have lost sight of that good logic over the past half decade or so.

They will want to interfere with that right, just like they have for the last 2 years. Even today with most people masked up when I was out, people were giving me dirty looks as if I was killing their fuckin grandmother, same as the last 2 years I went without wearing a mask. Amazing how people turned into sheeple in such a short time.

I was out a few times yesterday, and it kind of depended where I went how people responded. In downtown Toronto in the day hours, mostly masked. In Oshawa, less than half at the McDonald's and Tim Horton's I went to. Then downtown Toronto last night, and mostly unmasked.

Key seems to be the environment. It's become political, because everything has to be political in 2022.

And the degree that it becomes political is kind of distressing. Was at a Tim Hortons close to lakeshore area and this lady verbally attacked the person working the cashier because he was wearing a mask after the mandate was lifted. Something about it being oppressive to those who are unmasked....can't even try to make it sense

It goes both ways. I'm getting a lot of dirty looks in certain places for not wearing a mask (e.g. at Public Library by staff working there). And I actually got asked to leave a bookstore in The Beaches for not wearing it, if you can believe that.

I really wish we all had a time machine where we could go back and kill Trump before he became President. Politics have always existed, but things have been so bad since he came in, and they don't seem to be getting any better in the year and a half since he left. The pandemic has just made things ever worse. I'm just so utterly sick of it all. Agree to disagree, and leave people the hell alone if they don't bother you. How hard is that?
