Goldfish at bottom of tank? Im a newbie, please help!?

I have a 20 gal tank with 2 fantail goldfish. One of my goldfish keeps swimming in the corner of the tank, i dont think thats an issue and the other is sitting at the bottom of the tank.... I got the fish 4 days ago. I cycled the tank added conditioner aquarium salt blah blah blah. I changed 15% of the water this morning with tap water and added the water conditioner. Im going on a 3 day vacation tomorrow and I have those pyramid-shaped things that dissolve and feed them their food. ( that says feeds up to 25 fish or so - on the other hand, it would be nice to answer that too ). I might of fed the fish too much. Ive never tested the water, never added something to regulate the pH and stuff, even though i have it prepared with me. Is it dying and can i fix it? PLEASE IM DESPERATE HELP!

Look, im 12 I cannot afford a brand new tank, and how can i if my vacation is tomorrow?

Your fish isn't sleeping he is miserable, your 2 fantail gold fish need about 55 gallons of water to be happy, they do not have enough room to be active in that small tank, please get a bigger tank for the gold fish and do research before you put your fish in a tank that is way to small for them again.

And if you don't have a test kit then how do you know the tank is cycled? I'm guessing the fish is dying from ammonia poisoning.

I hate to say this..but let the one fish die..or have one of your parents help you put it to sleep (look up the clove oil and vodka method) If you just keep the one fish in the 20 gallon tank you wont be so overstocked. One fancy goldfish needs 30+ gallons.

Change 50% of the water ASAP. Do not put the feeder thing in, they simply poison the water. Your vacation is only 3 days, right? They will be absolutely fine without food for that time - they can go up to a week foodless without a problem. If you can get them some elodea/anacharis (same plant, different names in different places) they will happily eat the leaves on that.

Since you only got the fish two days ago, it's not imperative that you get a new tank right away because they are still young, but within a few months you will need to upgrade to a 30 or 40 gallon. I would suggest checking Craigslist or your local classifieds, as tanks are usually very cheap on there. By selling your 20 gallon you will probably recoup at least part of the cost. Ask your parents for help - not for your sake, but for the sake of your fish - and promise to repay them with money if you can, with extra help around the house if you cannot.

Your fish is not sleeping, fish don't sleep. They do rest, but goldfish do not typically stay at the bottom of the tank.
Are you sure the tank is cycled? Did you do it over six weeks using a source of ammonia, or did you simply run the filter for 24 hours before adding fish? The latter is what petshops tell you to do, and it doesn't work. It doesn't do anything. If that's what you did, I would strongly suggest doing 50% water changes everyday for the next six weeks to prevent your fish suffering from ammonia poisoning, starting today and continuing the second you get back from vacation. Do you have a powerful filter? Goldfish need a filter rated for twice the tank's capacity as they produce a lot of waste.
Don't worry about pH. It's better to let it stay stable rather than mess about with it using chemicals.
