I don't care where you go you can be spotted. The idea is to lessen the possibility of being spotted.
Don't pull your pants down on Broadway during rush hour. If you don't want to be seen avoid prime time. FRIDAY night No , Saturday Night No. Monday - Thursday not so bad.

Do not wear your company polo shirt to the Zone. Do not wear anything your employees usually see you in at work. If you dress up at work dress down to the zone. Do not wear the jacket you wear to work everyday. comb your hair slightly different than usual. Wear shades if its day light, wear them at night if you want to stand out as a dork.

Enter and take a lap of the bar so you can see the talent and anyone you need to know is in there. If you see someone, dont make eye contact. walk out or sit down have a beer then walk out. The worst they can say is we saw him having a beer. After your lap sit in a corner. the girls that are interested will make there way over to get in your line of sight. they will be more motivated and the ones that sit chewing gum don't want to be there anyway.

I try to stay out of of the more popular clubs as I don't want my employees seeing me and telling everyone at work that I was seen in AB........ Bad for the carreer if the boss hears of this. So far I have been lucky. I have only run into 1 person who was no longer with the organization. (He did not have a good reputation and would probably not be belived had he said something about me.) If spotted I have my lines rehearsed

I loved the WOOD back in the days. It was great. No one from work knew of the area. I was only nervous about any mishaps that might have ocurred. Not a perfect world.....

WTF are they doing there? If they ask you, tell them you just saw the crowd and wanted to see what was going on. Hell the first time I stumbled into Chicago, early on a Saturday night before all the girls arrived it took me a while to figure out what was going on. Just cause you are there you don't have to admit why you are there.

I know what Duckunderg is talking about. I have been outed by people at work that spotted me in Adelitas, Hong Kong and I myself spotted people at Chicago.

It really wasn't a big thing, because they are there too, but I could see how guy would like to keep their privacy especially if they are married, or have a job like a judge, cop or even a teacher.

It's it's really a concern stay away from AB, CC, and HK, but those are some of the better bars. I doubt anyone will spot you in Chavelas, Tropical, or Miami where more local tend to hang out, and fewer US mongers.

You can also go the escort route that will keep you away from the zona, and Revolution where a family may spot you.

Doug, so you want a better bar, that is also discreet, cheaper, more interesting, I guess you missed a couple of more adjectives here . The thing is the more "better" or popular the bar is the less discreet you can be there. After Adelitas, you have Hong Kong, Chicago, and then the local flavored bars like Chavelas, Tropical, Miami. You could go in the bar and stay in the shadows or less prominent, scout around do your thing and vanish. Sometimes it is easier to be "lost" in a crowded prominent bar, then be in sticking out in a less crowded less prominent bar.

Hi everyone, two questions

1) This may be common sense, but I'm wondering if and how people stay discreet in TJ. Surely there are others who are anxious about being seen in the area? Do you disguise yourselves? It sounds silly, but it's a serious concern I have.

2) I've been to Adelita's several times, and Chicago, and the street. I'm wondering if there are other, less well-known bars, that might be better or more interesting or cheaper or more discreet.
