York Regional Police have charged a Vaughan man who they allege posed as a massage therapist with sexual assault.

Cops say that on March 31, a person attended the suspect’s residence for a massage and claimed that during the treatment, the suspect touched them for a sexual purpose.
On April 1, Mykola Kuzub, 41, was charged with sexual assault. Investigators say they believe there may be more alleged victims and have released his image.
The accused advertised his services online under the names Nick Sailor and Nikolia Kuzub and was “known to target the Russian-speaking community,” police said in a release Thursday, adding that he is not a registered massage therapist.
Anyone with information is asked to call the York Regional Police #4 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 1-866-876-5423, ext. 7441.

Police have made an arrest in an incident captured on video involving an e-bike rider.
On Tuesday around 10 a.m. in the Danforth and Monarch Park Aves. area, an e-bike user was travelling westbound on Danforth when a man pushed a shopping cart into their path, causing the victim to fall.

The victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Nektarios Manimanakis, 47, of Toronto, is charged with mischief endangering life, assault with a weapon, and assault cause bodily harm.
A 40-year-old Hamilton man wanted in relation to a commercial break and enter in Vaughan where firearms were stolen has been charged.
York Regional Police responded on Jan. 30 to the area of Highway 7 West and Keele St. after someone reported that a safe used to store firearms had been stolen.
Police arrested one suspect and issued a warrant for Olivia Jorge Alejandro Rodriguez. He was arrested on April 15 on three counts each of break and enter to steal firearm and unauthorized possession of a firearm, and one count each of break and enter commit, disguise with intent, and conspiracy to commit an indictable offence.

The firearms remain outstanding and the investigation is ongoing.

Toronto Police are hunting for a man who fled in a vehicle after a stabbing in North York on Thursday morning.
Officers were called to the Sheppard Ave. W. and Yonge St. area around 8:05 a.m. for reports that a man in his 20s had been stabbed.
The victim was being transported to hospital via emergency run, police said on X.
Cops are searching for man they described as Black, in his 40s, with dreadlocks and wearing jogging pants. There was no description provided of the vehicle he fled in or the circumstances that led to the stabbing.
A man in his 30s was stabbed early Thursday in a Cabbagetown apartment building.
Toronto Police say the incident happened around 4:35 a.m. in the common area of a building at Carlton and Parliament Sts.
The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The attacker is described as a white man in his 30s who was wearing a grey sweater.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
