Best texting / calling app - any recommendations?

Hey guys I've used Line2 app for years to book sessions. Most escort agencies and massage parlors have no problem with it, only Mirage says they're not taking booking from that app and I need a real phone number instead. Suddenly, the app is gone from Google Play store and I can't download it anymore. Very annoying after using the same number for years and I may have lost it now.

Can anyone recommend an alternative, and better yet, is there one that doesn't look like app text to the receiver? I have no problem paying for it (pre-paid credit card).

The receiver still sees that it's a text app, but I have a workaround.

If the receiver says that she doesn't respond to text apps, I offer to send a quick text from my real number, and then continue to communicate via my text app.
Just so that she makes the connection, I tell her that I'm going to text her shortly from a real phone number ending in -1234.
So far, everybody has been OK with it.

Well, then that number goes to the list of phone numbers you've texted in your phone bill and reveals your identity - some of us want to stay incognito. What's the point of using a text app anyways if you still reveal your actual personal phone number?

My phone bill only shows phone numbers that I've CALLED, not texted.

Good question!
The texted numbers may not be visible on my bill. But obviously, they'll be visible on my regular phone.
For some of us, it's too dangerous to keep text conversation threads on a regular phone number, because I would have to delete any texts immediately after receiving any texts.
It's much safer to keep text conversations hidden in a text app. Even if you delete text conversations on your regular phone diligently, there's nothing worse than receiving a "Looking forward to seeing you too", or "Had a good time, babe" text on your regular phone number at the most inconvenient time.

I always make initial inquiries from my text app. If the indy/agency/other says that they don't reply to text apps, then I offer to send a brief text from my regular number, and then I continue the conversation/inquiry from the text app.
Then I delete the brief text from my regular number from my phone.

Sounds like Hushed and Fongo are great - anyone have info if it shows you're texting from an app? Would like to book with Mirage that accepts "real" numbers only.

Make shur u get real Toronto & GTA area code or they’ll no yer using text app … 416, 647, 905,289,etc…

Just keep resetting till u get one.

Tried burner but it seems to get detected. Has anyone had success with any paid text apps that don't get detected as a text app? There are girls who check very thoroughly on this and i'm really trying to avoid lugging around a second cell line and burner phone. Don't care if it's paid or free.

Used burner app w girls who claim they need real # only, & it works.

Its area code that gives u away, so make sure u get one og old local area codes.

I like textnow… u gotta keep burning #s till they give u a GTA area code.

U gotta keep using it or # gets deleted… best 2 text someone like Queensway Queens, they keep sending u ads & keeps it alive

But if someone can unlock yer phone, burners way better. Think: firewall

I have used both Text Now and Burner app.

I prefer the Burner app, calls work much better than Text Now. I found some places/providers want a phone call and I always had issues trying to call with Text Now, calls would always drop.

And with Burner I lucked out and have a 416 number, which is great. Yes, it is not free however I view it as a cost of hobbying and trying to maintain distance from your real number and name

If your phone supports eSim and you're ok paying for an actual second cell plan, you can use Lucky Mobile to add a second real number via eSim to your current phone.

You can specify which area code to use for a new TextNow number, it doesn't just randomly pick one. Also the area code doesn't even matter because there are websites to look up the carrier.

Guess its a matter of timing… when I lost a beauty TextNow #, next one had weird area code, & took me a few weeks burning b4 I got a 289 #…

416 = damn hard & u require some luck
