The signs have been up for a couple of months or so. Hugo is right; it is the result of issues between the club patrons and the business park's landlord. I think the "white car with two men" on weekend evenings are "spotters" for the towing company. They are watching for people who leave their cars at the business park and then walk across the street to the club. As long as you don't cross the street, your car should be alright,

I expect some may be a bit confused about just which amp area we are talking about. I think MustangRider is talking about seeing the "white car" in the area near Jasmine (i.e. Emerald Isle) but the signs are at 7th Heaven.

I assume when you mention the club, you are talking about the one(s) across Composite from 7th Heaven. Am I close on this?

This thread does make it obvious that feeling uneasy about parking is not limited to just a few members. I am like Kimchi in that I always worry about towing if I park too far away from the business I am visiting.

I am too dumb to worry. I just pull up to the door and park. I know that I probably will not be able to walk very far when I come out.

I suspect that we may have parked other things in the same parking lot at different times that day. And yes, I still have that, too. It is also old and beat up, but like the old truck, it stll gets me where I want to go.

Your assumption is correct SL. Specifically, it was some of the patrons from Club Flow that were causing problems on the Walnut Hill Business Park parking lot. I should have made it clearer in my earlier post that I was specifically referring to Seventh Heaven. If there were two men in a white car parked near Jasmine, I have no idea what that was about, but I wouldn’t necessarily jump to the conclusion it was a le stake-out.

As to the parking at Seventh Heaven, anyone with business at that complex (i.e. any of the three buildings on the southeast corner of Composite and Electronic) is technically able to park in any legal space on the entire property; however, during regular business hours, some of the other businesses get a bit possessive about the parking spaces directly in front of their door. If you’re trying to be discreet and don’t want to park in any of the spaces directly in front or at the side of Seventh Heaven, it’s probably better to use spaces that aren’t directly in front of another open business. Also, it probably isn’t a good idea to park across the street at the bowling alley. Their lot is also posted, and it is possible non-bowling alley customer cars would be towed.

btw: The landlord is going to be installing some additional outside lighting on the east side of Seventh Heaven’s building which should make it somewhat safer to park anywhere along that side of the building late at night.

I can appreciate your concern but don't forget that there is nothing wrong with getting your neck rubbed after a long day of work. The cooler you are walking in or out, the better off you are if you get questioned. As for the car eforum.xxx....if you don't have any outstanding warrants, there isn't a problem. Park legally and let them check away.

If you are going to 7th, you could park on the side, it is not as visable. On weekends, late at nite, thar parking lot can get very full, b/c of the dance club down the street. I am not too afraid of parking in front of 7th. I'd be a little more shy about parking in front of Smile, or one of the other places next to it. As said before, the large lot to the side is best and then walk to the establishment of your choice. When visiting Hawaii, I always just parked out in the back area, but was always a bit concerned that someone could be across the way looking at my car. Not really anyway to totally guard yourself in this way, you just have to use some caution and trust your instincts. Thre have been times I drove by places, didn't feel right b/c of something I saw, and just kept driving and maybe came back later. I drove by Ampville (Emerald) one Sun nite, last spring and b/c I saw a bunch of young guys (looked like high school, but may have been college freshman) hanging out in the parking lot. Drove around a while, came back and they were still hanging out. Drove around for a while and later they were gone, but I just didn't feel right, so that nite I discoverd 7th Heaven! So it all turned out GOOD!

Well, I don't know about that, but the first time I ever met Indy Yoko (we're talking when she was over by Spring Valley way back in early 2006) I walked into her apartment with a Sonic Drink (Diet Coke) in my hand. Still can't believe I did that - she looked at me like I was out of my mind, smiled, and just took it and set it on the kitchen counter. LOL. Then ........

She remembers it and still laughs at me about it to this very day.
